Have I suddenly become irresistible to beautiful young women -- or is it more reasonable to conclude that scamming has increased? |

I think that it's just silly season. A lot of new people joining the site after the new year.
Maybe your profile just makes you look like a mark. I get lots of views from eastern countries and Africa but most don't message me. I think that I might be in there with this twenty one year old from India though. |

I don't mean to sound rude...But in my personal experience, messages from people in so call foreign countries end up in scamming situations, people asking me for money or someone pretending to be someone else.
specially when it is people younger than me. Just be careful |

I don't mean to sound rude...But in my personal experience, messages from people in so call foreign countries end up in scamming situations, people asking me for money or someone pretending to be someone else. specially when it is people younger than me. Just be careful i don't really chat with women from foreign countries... doesn't matter if they are a scammer, I'm not going to fall in love through a computer screen, so there is no point in taking, because we would never meet anyway... just my view, anyway... |

Just be careful i don't really chat with women from foreign countries... doesn't matter if they are a scammer, I'm not going to fall in love through a computer screen, so there is no point in taking, because we would never meet anyway... just my view, anyway... I do. I learn a lot from them. Philippine women working contract work, either in factories or as housekeepers many times are treated as slave labor. Factory workers get one half day to go shopping and they can't go out in public without an escort. One day, the gal I was corresponding with just up and disappeared. The whole year we emailed here, not one time did she ask for anything. She was just lonely for outside conversation. |

My opinion is: no and yes. I have this feeling that 98% :S of them are scammers and 2% are genuine (maybe they like your profile shhh) :D

Most of them are probably scams. But also, asian women like Filipinos often sit in cyber cafe's and look at who the people around them are talking with and then contact them, especially if they think your American. Its all about the lifestyle they want to lead and the money they think you have. My father tells me about young asian women trying to manipulate him online constantly, he tells them he's poor and they stop talking with him lol.
