history repeats itself, like the repetitive claim that the end is near, that has been repeated a billion times since the inception of the USA, and before,,,,

And all within the 2000 year cycle, so moot as far as that goes, but history HAS repeated itself MANY times, even in this 2000 year cycle

for that matter, its repeated in a 100 year cycle, and a 200 year cycle, and so on and so forth

wars happen, will happen, have happened, in much shorter cycles than 2000 years

but I don't know for sure the last time there was an apocalypse around the world,,,doubting it was only 2000 years ago though..

humans keep sticking it out,, and until they are no longer meant to,, they will continue with THAT cycle,,,

OK.... so history isn't your strong point.

Yes, humanity will survive, but in what numbers? Whole civilizations, even the dinosaurs have become extinct in the past, mutating to other more adaptable species.

This rock we call earth will survive, but as what.... and as we now know it?

Anything can happen, and being as prepared as possible is not a fools errand, it's simply good logic.

It could be a meteorite, an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, a famine, flood, world war, or economic collapse.... but we are at the end of the 2000 year cycle for catastrophic change.

Even the Mayans predicted it...as well as the Bible. Christianity is now 2000 years old, with everyone preaching Revelations..... the End Times....... Scholars, scientists, and Theologians alike.

Even if humanity got wise all of a sudden, not much can change historic cycles, and whether man-made or natural, this cycle is at its end.
