While on vacation, Obama wanted to play golf. He had a lot on his mind.

Anyway, when Obama notified a golf course he wanted to get in a few rounds the next day, he was denied entry.

He called a second nearby course.

Denied again.

He called a 3rd course, denied entry.


The golf courses all said...

"It's a holiday weekend, he gave us only one day notice, and our customers had already paid for the time and courses he wanted to use."


What do you think about this?

i think for the disruption it causes they were within their rights.

Bull,he can go to Camp David and use that Course anytime!

He did leave and go somewhere else, but he wanted to go to these courses first, and was denied.

I guess you think that if he wanted to go to certain restaurants, all the paying guests who had made reservations should be kicked out?

I thought it was a privilege to have dinner with POTUS?

Listening to the "whole" story puts it into perspective and shows, yet again, Obama's tendency to use poor judgement...When it comes to playing golf, it's like his brain takes a holiday...

Just like the golf course, the diners would would have to leave, not enjoy his company.

Several courses didn't want him there.

Lets see if they make the news come tax time with getting heavy audits.

It happens all the time on all golf courses. If you don't call ahead of time sometimes weeks ahead if you want to get on the course on a holiday weekend. He golf a lot he should know that.

Hired help, paid for by tax payers like those who told him no can do, it's a holiday weekend and we are booked solid...Plus, we need to generate this holiday income because our printer is out of ink..

I think the title of this topic is funny. Actually, the whole thing is funny...

Wherever the President goes, special clearances and sweeping must be conducted prior to his arrival; venues must be cleared of any persons who have not had complete background checks conducted and been cleared through security.

I think sometimes time constraints CAN happen

I think I remember the other side being upset that a certain town event had to be cancelled ( a school ballet? or something) because a public official needed a place to speak at the last minute and that was the most accommodating space they had on that particular day


I think its one of those small things that aren't major

though , because of the HISTORICAL implications regarding blacks and golf courses, definitely has potential to stir up some controversy

President Obama has to play by the rules like everyone else, including booking a date and time to play on a golf course.

Show me a person who thinks that President Obama should have been allowed on those golf courses, and I will show you a person who worships President Obama.
