From my point of view, JFK and Bobby Kennedy were far more progressive in their positions of race and gender equality than most in office at that time. In a way, I think JFK and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated because of trying to pull America out of it's racism toward minorities. Do I think they were perfect? No. But Nixon was calling minorities the N Word while in office, and I'll take JFK over any other president in the last century. Only Obama is better than JFK. KING! |

While on vacation, Obama wanted to play golf. He had a lot on his mind.
Anyway, when Obama notified a golf course he wanted to get in a few rounds the next day, he was denied entry. He called a second nearby course. Denied again. He called a 3rd course, denied entry. The golf courses all said... "It's a holiday weekend, he gave us only one day notice, and our customers had already paid for the time and courses he wanted to use." What do you think about this? |

nope, sounds like awareness of the history of words,,, a female can tell someone to stop being such a girl,,,even if she is a boy,, if its offensive to him, it could only be because he feels being a girl is something derogatory similarly , a 'negro' can say negro please to someone, and if its offensive to them, it can only be because they feel being a negro is something derogatory or at least assumes a negro feels being a negro is derogatory however, for a white person to call someone negro who is negro,, well, it is reasonable FROM THE HISTORY OF THE WORD< to feel that white person is not saying it to equate to equal status but to inferior status ,,but I tire of explaining the significance of CONTEXT,,both situational and historical.

Just an observation I don't go to the states anymore because of my past experiences (except tradeshow in Vegas) last year I was there, a shootout on the strip... end result, rapper in Maserati dead, cab driver and passenger dead from the Maserati plowing into the cab. 2 days later, I'm first on site in a hostage taking... again, on the strip. I remember seeing bumper stickers on patrol cars in NYC which read like this... "If you have any information regarding the death of Police officers, dial 1-800...." Now 3 things come to mind One... This must happen alot? two... The deaths must be random cop shootings while on patrol? three... Dead end investigations need public info.(random killings) 10 years ago, I was in the crossfire... broad daylight in SOHO and all I can say is ya'll are puckin nuts with your weapons on the streets. Dig that! I'm from Georgia. My grandfather had to kill several KKK for coming to our house to rape, rob, and kill us. In self defense. But back then, you couldn't kill a white person, even in self defense. My grandfather was lynched. My uncle, had Georgia police shoot his head off in front of the family while tied to a tree. My father became a famous preacher in Atlanta. He woke up with nightmares screaming "LEAVE HIM ALONE! He ain't did nothing to ya!" I AM King Solomon! You BETTER BELIEVE, I pack a gun! If you came from where I did...YOU WOULD TOO!  Dig THAT! |
