I just can't seem to wrap mine around it.

if 1000 years equals 1 day in a different time construct, then how long is 25 minutes in the 1 day construct.

1000 years equals 1 day in a dfferent time construct
Since the first part of the question doesn't specify a time construct whereas second part does which is 1 day
Therefore 25 minutes = 25 minutes in 1 day construct...!!!

First part doesn't have any bearing to second...!!!

just wanna try this hmmnn...

1000 (1 day) / 24(hours) =41.666 (per hour)
41.666 / 60 (minutes) = 0.694 (per minute)
0.694 * 25 = "17.361"

17.361?

Sorry I can't be of an assistance ... I donated brain before joining an online dating site. I was strongly adviced not to use it or show any brain activity in a dating world as it is not considered an interesting ASSet. Showing abs seems to work better.:-)
Actually, they asked for a heart, but I wasn't willing to give it away. At least not that easily LOL :-)
Perhaps the smartER ones on this site will be more useful ;-)

if 1000 years equals 1 day in a different time construct, then how long is 25 minutes in the 1 day construct.

I'm assuming, if this is a question of literal lineal measurement...?

There is 1440 minutes in a 24 hour day, so divide 1000 by 1440 then multiply by 25 which comes to 17.3611111---> Repeating. The 17 will represent the number of current-years relative to this 'thousand year long day.' The .361 will represent a fraction of a current-year respectively. (A generous 4 months)

Thus, 25 minutes of a thousand-year-long day would equal approximately 17 years and 4 months at current-time.

Ok we will use MST or mean solar time for are day. also we will use a tropical year which is 365.242199 days long (not where i live hmmm)or
365 days 05:48:46
Obviously no corrective measures needed to sync.
Although that would be fine as long as one knows the formula.

Right, so a leap year happends almost every 4 years unless you can divide 100 into the year BUT that rule will be nullified if you can divide 400 into the year...OK..clear as mud
..then lets get going.
Now I forgot the problem? I forgot again ..thats why I grabbed the quote.
I hope I don't forget my math because I talked a lot of $hit back there..even for me.

Ok then lets get going.

Find the sec per day.
Min are not relevant.
60s60m=36002=7200; 103600=36000+7200=432002=86400
Now how many sec in 25 min. 6010=6002=1200 and 1/2 600 for 5min =1500
Find % of the day 25 min is.
86400 10% is 8640 move the d for1% =864s
2% puts us over 1/2 of 864= 432 at.5%
[1296s]at 1.5%; .1%=86.4; need 204s to balance. 3 will bust; 286.4=172.8; 31.2s short 1.7%=1468.8
.01%=8.64sx3=25.192
difference of 6.008
1.73% ; 001%=.8647=
864
 7
84;60 flip the8 & 4
6.048 Balanced but 4/100 of a sec at 1.737 the tail would likely be 1.73705 as the remainder is half of .0864 at .0001%

Are you sitting down for this one???

Move your d back one and thats the answer to your problem.

17.37 years
I thank you
