This one is about the agony and ecstasy of love....It's for you daddy :-)....R.I.P.

Come On Daddy, I'll Walk You There...

Death be not shy tonight
Come out into the glaring light
Where mortal men and daughters fight
Surrender to your omni plight...

Death you make me mad, you know!
All talk but never ever show!
Why must his suffering be so slow!
Why must you tap that hard, then go!...

Death you are but shallow
The march?....You like it hallow...

Licking your lips in anticipation!
Breaking off pieces of consolation!...

Taunting, mocking, mind control
Holding captive a tortured soul...

Take him you bastard, take him!
He's ready, bathed and trimmed
Worn out even more than I am
Clouds of morphine running thin...

Stop your licentious glad handing!
Your invitation is standing
Your requirements beyond demanding
Your smugness ever expanding...

Take him Death, I'm begging you!
Don't test me Death for you will lose!
I'm not his child nor your muse,
I'll steal your thunder and cut him loose!...

this is amazing leigh.. a true fighting spirit!

Your Dad was brave and so are you !

Thank you Pansy!flowerforyou

Maxi,merci, merci vous !flowerforyou

see...worth the wait. nicely done. flowerforyou

thanks for piching in....who's next?

KC...It is YOUR turn now !! Several highly skilled and beautiful women jumped in your bed...I mean euh...realm...with a beautiful exercise of style giving life to a "stop passed "nothing"

In the meantime the voyeur I am got inspired watching several trailers letting my mind flash forward !!
KC...I want a movie now !

KC and Pansy, a dramatic comedy, a movie somewhere along the lines of Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet...

KC & Ainjel, hmm more of a romantic comedy...maybe Nottinghill...or Evita ?

for some reason bastet & KC more of an action movie, raw, deep and light somewhere along Undercover Blues or Blue Valentine ? The children...the time....

Oh and Tanyaan..that was intense, so real...fictional or hmm I think of Linklater's Before Sunrise...

But do set it straight....laugh
My imagination just always flies out of the window !

haha...funny

wait, now i have to another one?

Your ability to embrace the realism of life's cycle shows phenomenal courage alone not to mention the main task at hand.Personally, myself been one that has not been faced with this, its a reminder and could be viewed as a disturbing reality.
For your words takes us there and perhaps closer than I want to come.
The last verse was so deep.

I'm still very new to this... I hope I don't ruin your thread Leigh... Here goes...

Next to never

I watched him
As he packed his duffle bag
Quietly folding his shirts
I thought of how, why, when...
But the questions never came.
I knew the answers,
But it didn't matter...

He turned to me,
With a wry smile.
I smiled back.

He leaned closer,
The touch of his fingers,
On my arm, tingled through me.
I catch my breath,
Only to be stolen by his hard kiss.

Bodies press closer.
The scent of soap
Mixed with burning
Filtered through the air.

Hands tore through cloth and skin,
As sweat collected in secret parts.

A quivering of lips,
A ragged sigh of wanting,
As legs began to tangle and bodies tumble.

Take me... I cried silently, this may be our last...
He coaxed my body only he knew how,
Gently teasing each spot, each crevice
As I held on to every motion, not wanting it to end...

Each soft kiss, each wet breath, pressing harder
More intent,
Until the need overcame want...

As legs rose to hips,
And hips rose even higher,
A collective moan sliced through the air
Until we rested on a drifting cloud.

Knowing the unknown that lay ahead,
I clung to him just as he rested on me
Sated, still needing...
A need that kept us alive.

Making Rooms

As I rest in the afterglow
Of the midnight light
That you bring to the
Window in the center of my home

I realize that I could be anywhere

The spaces in my house
BREATHE and are alive
Hanging on your every word

I look left to the kitchen sink
I think that the rooms in my abode
Have taken on a new meaning

I'm leaning toward the idea
That when I study your bedroom eyes
I have been dining on a library so profound

It could be brought to any table!

So if you are able....

Bring your feast again you beast!

I've made room in my Parlour.

<o> First Kiss <o>

Leaning closer, in your sanctum, your lair,
Your mien magnetic, you reach and loosen my hair.
Your words are gentle, sagacious,
True your lips, your mouth a well, a deep oasis.
Your eyes steady my hesitant pause.
I see reverence, adoration, I am yours!
Your breath upon my face,
Your mouth upon mine.
Our love soars to a further grace.
Our first kiss, so earthly, so divine.

This one was written for a dear friend...One bad choice ruined her life...Love you always and forever (((Jillie)))...

"Tomorrow's Promise"

She keeps tomorrow's promise stored
in the spare room of a troubled mind
Twisted thoughts make
love hate happiness sadness
impossible to discern...

Locked and bolted,
a patchwork of heavy metal doors
secures every entrance
ensuring even the most determined visitor
will not get close enough
to press a white oleander
against shatter proof glass...

The nightmare that refuses to sleep
gulps cloudy dregs from a well running dry
pausing only long enough to inhale oxygen
from a scant supply in the cubicle she calls home...

Hard rain beats down new growth
and breaks off tender buds
as it relentlessly washes away a frail foundation
of loose sand and looser sanity...

"What if's" play out to a mind bending beat
as limbic lyrics repeat defeat...

What if the water was crystal clear
and tears could flow like rain
What if block foundations had no
windows barred in shame...

What if libation's crutch was not
a river drowning sorrow
What if time was meaningless
and yesterday was still tomorrow...

What if she had not taken
the winding mountain road
What if she had not ventured out
or for the curve she'd slowed...

What if the hand of fate took leave,
just winged and flew away
Would not tomorrow's promise soar
in verisimilitude today...

Oh my...this sounds sooo hopeless. Wondering how and what type of pain could have done that much damage ? Terrible....
