Reasons To Ignore Emails?

Technically- there are a myriad of reasons but my personal & Number One Issue with [too] many of these emails is the sad fact that they are more BORING to read[much less, respond to] than the white pages.asleep

"How-R-U" & "Hope-U-R-Having A Happy Day, "Hey Bootiful-Huggies & Kissies"["Hey, Wait-A-Minute Mr!-Did You forget that We Are Complete Strangers?!"]
*sighs* Not only are these first impressions- criminally boring but the grammar, sentence structure, & content reflect the emotional depth of a Middle School individual as opposed to a mature adult with some in depth life experience...what

PS:Lucky for us:banana: , there is "Help" & [Hope] out there! Here's an example of an opening note with some wit:

"Well, you seem like a potentially fun and interesting woman. But how do I know you're not actually a crazy cat lady who stays in all weekend to watch Bravo 24/7? Early nights in bed before 9pm aside, what is your ideal weekend like? ;)"

I only respond to friends because..........I'm not looking and I already donate to my favorite charities....

I know! You'd think all of these women could come up with something more original than " Hey Hottie! Wassup?" Plus just the time it takes to weed through the multitudes and the idea of being objectified like a piece of meat. Geeez!

7. You ask to live with me/marry me on the first email.

ru saying u wuldnt if i askt?

#5 is a deal-breaker for me. If we are going to communicate... we need to be able to communicate. I require a woman who has received a basic second-grade education in spelling and grammar, thanks.
If it looks like we have nothing in common, or she won't mention that kind of hobbies and interests she likes, that's usually an indicator to me that 1) she's a scam account, or 2) she's not willing to have a basic conversation with me.
Another bad indicator is that she wants me to do something before she'll have that conversation with me - move to a different chat service, visit another website, subscribe to something, etc.

Now I'm personally guilty of this last point, because I regularly invite women to find me on Valve Software's Steam service, if they already use it themselves. I'm sure this sounds suspicious to a woman who's never used it before, but I've found Steam to be very trustworthy, and I use Steam a lot more than I use any dating site. My only excuse is that I phrase it as an invitation, and I'm perfectly willing to chat with them on the site email if they respond.

I'll start on 1 and end on 1.

1. If females want to ignore emails and do then why bother with these sites? That's the whole reason I stopped paying for sites years ago and will never pay again. It's also the reason I deleted my POF account and I'm considering this one too. These sites are a total waste of my time.

The few that I have communicated with were stuck in Africa and needed money or they're widows whose wife died in a car accident leaving him with the kids. In one month I received 4+ emails of those types.

A lot of mine get ignored. The way I see it, it's a numbers game, just keep firing away until you hit something.

It can run around in one of those clear plastic balls, you get from pet shops, etc, instead of 2 wheels, make do with one? bigsmile

Every basic question on your profile shows "no answer".

While it's great to keep some mystery and not give everything away on your profile, at least answer the basic questions.
