This question doesn't have a "one size fits all" answer. The fact that you said no and Astrid said yes doesn't make you right and her wrong or vice versa. Personally, if there is too much of an age difference, I'm not interested.

it is a very personal choice for me, I dont want anyone to young to be my oldests father(he is 22) nor anyone old enough to be mine,,,lol between those two ages, if the emotional maturity is compatible,, the age doesnt matter

I think it does. I don't know how some of these 20 plus age difference relationships work. After you get thru the obvious.. what do you talk about?.. you both come from different era's.. I was taught to "play with kids your own age".. worked then... works now But.. JMO

No it doesn't. Love knows no age. The age gap shows in the end though! My mum and dad had 15 years between them and when my dad retired and my mum was still working, it caused a lot of Friction between them. They ended up breaking up after 35 years together, 10 years ago.
