I never have dated a tall lady. I have asked many times, but turned down. So I ask. Do tall girls like shorter men?

Personally, I won't date a guy shorter than me.....I am 5' 11.....so it is hard to find guys taller than me.

It's a vanity issue. Supermodels date and marry shorter men but only because the men are successful and there is a dearth of taller men, not necessarily because they don't care about the height difference. I noticed that tiny ladies seem to love extremely tall men, which looks funny to people when you look at the height difference of a foot or more between them. Personally, I like my man about 4 - 6 inches taller but not extremely tall. I am 5' 7.

The tallest girl I ever dated was when in my teens I dated a girl that was 6 feet 2inches tall in flat shoes, I am 6 foot tall, sadly she was very self conscious about her height, but she was a teenager like me. This was in the 1960s when the supermodels of the day were all like Jean Shrimpton 'The Shrimp' , small waif like figures. I think most women prefer their partner to be a little taller than themselves, this is just the impression I have gained, but providing there is no very big difference in height between them I don't believe women are too bothered about it in my opinion. |

It just doesn't feel the same when a short man holds you in his arms. When a taller man holds you, paradise!
A shorter man cannot put his arm around your shoulders, you end up having to put your arm around his shoulders. Sexually certain things are difficult when a man is shorter. It doesn't make me feel sexy and feminine when I have to wrench my body in difficult / painful positions because otherwise he cannot take me. And if I don't wrench my body, it's even more awkward, I mean, both being ready and in need, and then he can't get to it... With a taller man, I don't have to strain my body, I can simply enjoy! Kissing a shorter man... having to look down on him... All in all a shorter man doesn't make a woman feel feminine... |

Humm well I'm short 5'1 and even I prefer taller men. Most guys I have dated have been close to the 6' mark or even over...
Why as was said above it makes you feel more like a lady, if they can wrap their arms around you. And I prefer men that are not super skinny.. I'm not and well I feel like mutt and jeff when they are, just awkward.  Even though it is not hard for me to find those that are taller then me I still prefer they are at least 4-5" taller..I have never dated anyone shorter then me...  I have been surprised when meeting some men and we are looking eye to eye and they say they are 5'7 and above... I'm like really you need to regroup and check your height again...  |

Lol... I've gotten to the point when I'm at the supermarket.... I can almost tell when a lady is about to ask me.. can you reach that down for me please... before she even says a word.. .. they have this look in there eyes when they see me coming down the aisle towards them..... its the same look they get when they have . get puppies...lol |
