Dirty ol foreskinsill
Where do you all think the term 'dickcheese' came from??
I'm very grateful, my parents decided for me when I was a baby.

Ok have to give you this one..
Yet if they hadn't would you at this age decide to do it or
would you have learned clean hygiene and never have to worry about
said cheese???

I'd have it done.
I like neat and tidy.
Scissor..stapler..voila!

snip snip... bahahaha!

but i bet you know a "country" way of doing it? rofl

Exactly.. you do bathe, don't you? I've never ever seen a man without foreskin, and I have never seen a man with knob cheese either. So a BS argument. If someone isn't clean, I don't want him anyway, whether he's intact or not.

So now I've learnt that both US and CA men have been mutilated (sorry, it's still mutilation to me), now I'm wondering about AUS... As far as I know  they are intact, but now beginning to wonder.

Still flabbergabbered about the info... and can't believe that you all believe it is right. And can't believe that apparently more than 50% of the males on this planet have had their bodies messed with. Unreal.

i dunno... kinda like wearing a hat or gloves on a hot day.... no matter how much you shampoo and soap... sweat will still collect...
only in this case... there is also ...other ... voluntary and involuntary....secretions... (apologies... hope i dont gross anyone out...purely hygienic commentary here...)

Let me begin by stating that Jews are the smartest people in the world. Albert Einstein was Jewish and even his name is synonymous with genius. If you look at the Old Testament or the Torah, which in Hebrew means instructions for life, you will learn many beautiful things. There is also esoteric knowledge but I digress. The Torah teaches us about cleanliness and survival. The kosher dietary laws prohibit eating pork (pigs eat everything and they are unsanitary), prohibit mixing meat with dairy (so no cheeseburgers), allow only specific sea food because they are most immune to polluted waters, etc. These laws were created to protect mankind and prolong his lifespan and healthy living. Same goes for circumcision. Yes, it can be seen as mutilation but, in this respect, it was specifically designed, like everything else in Jewish wisdom, to protect mankind. It is nothing like the barbaric female circumcision which has the sole purpose of diminishing the woman and her pleasure. Male circumcision is for the purposes of cleanliness, longevity, quality of life and reduction of sexually transmitted diseases, which was also backed up by the article shared by the OP. There also is absolutely no evidence that it decreases sexual pleasure in men, and this too the article backs up. It is performed in the first week of the Jewish boy's life so he will not be traumatized by any bad memories. It is done by an experienced and capable Rabbi. We have all the bases covered. You can say that it is performed for medical reasons because it is to prevent any diseases or conditions caused from uncleanliness later in life. Jews consider it a preventative medical practice. Most Jewish men experience diseases or male medical problems at an astronomically LOWER scale than the rest of the male population as a result of circumcision. Our Jewish elders were very, very wise.

circumcision has its advantages. I made a wallet out of the skin... when I rub it , it grows into a suitcase

I'm with Crystal.

I'm not religious. Figured Mother Nature knew what she was doing and chose to not circumcise my sons. Soap is cheap and clean is easy.

In Canada it is no longer routine and if you choose to have this procedure done on your innocent newborn you are gonna have to pay for out of pocket...it is not covered by medicare.

i can give respect to various age old health practices...and i wouldnt argue against someones beliefs on practicing anything that is held to improve quality of life...

but on a purely academic level, given my above statement regarding health and beliefs...... wouldn't the lower incidence of STD be correlated more on the lower incidence of promiscuity rather than circumcision per se?

Oh, it's back... kind of funny as I was thinking about this topic last night.. Thinking that I wouldn't know how to erm ... handle a not intact man, lol, since the gliding mechanism (mentioned in the article I linked to earlier) has gone.
So .. in that sense maybe an advantage --> I wouldn't dare touch him, plus it would look eewww as well.. rather not go there ... so foreplay would be about him touching me. Maybe not so bad

Well, seeing as my foreskin is a bit too ling, and this increases the maintenance on it, i would at times love to see it go.

but then again...
"cutting off instead of caring for"

...bollox.
That foreskin stays cuz' it's an integral part of me and my Piece.
simple.

so nah... don't miss it, don't want to.
:D
