Ciretom does have a point though. I have noticed that there are different levels of friendship and that different people label these differently.

If a 'friend' doesn't show up consistently, there probably is a reason. They may be hiding it from you, or they may think that it doesn't even bother you that they didn't show up. Have you asked them about it?

There are reasons that 'pyrotechnical commercial fireworks' are for those safety aware humans that have to be Licensed by the Fire Marshall/state dept.

The annual 'come watch my little berg' celebrate the towns 2 day event; finalized with that obnoxious night time fire works display! Where once upon a time it was always held out past the one and only little park by the sewer lagoons � mile from the city limits! Safe - still visible to anyone and everyone within town - and still very LOUD! Not so these past 3 years when the honor was placed upon 'WHOM EVER' is paying for the display; please figure it out and shoot them off accordingly!
My neighbors donated their empty feed lot; and last night the wind shifted and carried those huge things right up and over my home/my neighbors home and my 3 little dogs literally CRAPPED massive amounts of scared-loose stools all over my bed - floors until they had nothing left and were 'P'ing/shaking/whining little bundles of freaked out canines until midnight after several of us neighbors kept phoning the Sheriff's department with complaints 9:35pm - until it was stopped

Then I had the mopping to do and bed linens to change
