Things of this nature is never easy to deal with no matter how many times one has had something like this happen.. And as you said when it comes to our kids or one of our family's kids. It is heart breaking and one of our worst nightmares...

Sending heartfelt prayers that he stays strong and beats this...

he is doing remarkably well and has a wonderful girlfriend that takes him to his appointments and stays right by his side

he has lost the hair on his head but but still has his little soul patch and his eyebrows and eyelashes but those will go next

told him he looks good bald..nice shaped head happy
not many can pull that look off

I had my concerns about his father..this is my older brother who has an alcohol problem..thought this might throw him into a tailspin of depression and drinking but..

he has taken some time off of going to college and told his son that he will return to school when they are both ready to do it again and he went out and got a full time factory job to save money to help the kids travel down state for the doctor appointments

So glad to see the positive updates at this very appropriate time. Have a Cancer center very near where I live so we often have Cancer patients in our community and renting in our immediate neighborhood. Will still keep the family in prayers as you move forward toward many more Blessings in the New Year. Let heaven and Nature Sing!flowerforyou

Cancer survivors like him
Are real heroes
Not many people have the courage
To look at death in the eye and say

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!

This is wonderful news!flowerforyou

Federal Law requires that ALL colleges have Special Student Services coordinators that their entire job is just helping student through this kind of situation. A lot can be done to make it easier and insure his success.

thank you

he is so much like his dad ( my big bro)
put that nonchalant brave face on
crack a few wise cracks like we do in this family
inside I know he was worried and scared every step of the way

he asked me about 1/3 way thru
when his hair was falling out
" aunt T is this as bad as it is gonna get?"

" not even close baby but you got the right stuff to get thru this
and don't you ever feel like you got put on a happy face for anyone else. You are the one doing daily battle with this..that means if you get tired you say so, if you need some alone time you tell people that..this is about you and nobody else"

thank you for the kind words
he is a good boy and our hope of course is that he lives a long life
