The last date I went on...
The guy didnt say anything wrong...
But he was slouching throughout and looked as if had better things to do...

He called a few times a couple of days later...
We had a decent talk...

But his demeanor that first date...
Ruined it for me.

Needless to say, nothing came out of it.ohwell

I thought saying "I love you!" was good enough to send a man running for the hills...
but since no one has mentioned that one ... maybe it's worth a shot, lol

What I would say: "you seem really nice & I had a great time, let's do this again" - guaranteed no 2nd date, call or contact from the guy forever & ever.

It really works...

Nah, then you just tell him you're already over it, you fall in love at least once a week. That will sure kill any blossoming feelings, lol

I've killed a date just by asking..."Care if I have a cigarette?"

ohwell

Edit: just for clarification, the date ended....I didn't actually kill anyone....

I'd turn up looking awful. That ought the be enough to put him off ;) Knowing MY fate, it probably wouldn't.

I have had my fair share of blind dates. There were many who I found were not a match. But I still ended up having a nice time. I wouldn't disrespect someone by making fun of them or ridiculing them because I wasn't attracted to them. Or making up disrespectful lines to get rid of them. I always give them the courtesy of a polite letdown. I am sure if someone made fun of you because they thought you were beneath them, you would feel rotten. I noticed some people even posted over 9 times on this thread. What does that really say about you?

Yes indeed...

Just curious... since I've never had a blind date (not sure if I would go on one either)... how did you end up with blind dates? Friends set it up?

Friends or family. The blind dates never worked out. I never disrespected them and I had some interesting experiences.

says that this was a tongue in cheek thread to begin with meant to lighten the atmosphere of the room and said in humor and never to hurt anyone's feelings
