He sure tells it like it is. I do realize they all promise lots of things before they get elected. Im not a republican but I may vote for him.

They lie because they want the funding of the PACS and donors, the one thing that Mr. Trump doesn't have to worry about since he is self funding his campaign.

Right now Trump has numbers because he's poking the Establishment bear with a sharp stick, and people are enjoying it. Eventually when they realize he doesn't have the skills for the job, there will be a more serious candidate search.

What Trump DOES do however, is he forces the conversation that needs to be had on issues like immigration, Planned Parenthood, the care of veterans, the economy, and how people just like him 'game' the system to their advantage.

People have been of the opinion for decades now that Washington is inhabited and run by corrupt party hacks who vote by block as directed, and don't vote their conscience or for what is best for the country.

People are tired of wasteful, partisan government which attaches riders to bills costing millions more than estimated, and do nothing to get the middle class employed and stoking the American economic engine.

People want meaningful change, and if that means electing a guy who says during a State of the Union address "Congress, you're fired!" well then so be it. The unlikely choice isn't always the impossible choice.

Who would have thought an actor (Reagan) or a newspaper publisher(Harding) could have been president? The vast majority of U.S. presidents have been either soldier, lawyers, or farmers. There has never been a true industrialist/developer/builder as president.

Hmmmmmm.

Wilson, college president. Bush # 1 Oil Tycoon, Bush #2 failed business man. Most of our presidents have been professional politicians, which is to say "sales and marketing" people.

Failed businessman? rofl After he flipped the Rangers for a huge profit, yea he is such a failure in business. rofl

i keep hearing he's not Qualified, doesn't have the skills, things of this nature...

so what are the skills needed? what makes someone Qualified? i probably won't vote for him, just for the fact he hasn't been in the Military, i don't think someone should be in charge of it thats never been been in it...

Your going to be out of luck in the general election then because I believe the only two candidates who have served were Governor Perry and Senator Webb and neither is going to get the nomination.

I'm fine with Trump running for the office of president.

I don't think he'll win.
But, I do believe he'll siphon enough votes from the republicant party, to put another dim-o-crat in the whitehouse.

That's exactly what will happen. Democrats love this. Trump's a migrant farm worker, he's just gonna change the landscape.
Do you think this is Trumps intentions by design?

I'm not sure if he's connected or made, on Jersey Shore do they address him as a friend of ours?
As far as his design, he is a liberal democrat registered as an independent running as a republican. More military spending, bigger government, bigger big brother, bigger list of enemies than Nixon...
Would mandatory Trumpcare be better than Obamacare? I doubt it.

rofl Now I've seen it all. A Liberal accusing a Republican of being a mobsters. BTW, you have been watching way to many Al Pachino movies rofl

I don't know if he still supports that idea, but I know when he was Secretary of the Navy he sure did and that's part of the reason that President Reagan axed him.

Hey, Al Pacino is one of the greatest actors in the last 40 years. As a matter of fact I think Pacino and DeNiro would make great candidates. If they ran together you'd have checks and balances between the POTUS and the VEEP. I'm not a liberal either, I think the whole liberal conservative leftwing rightwing crap was thrown in to cause in fighting to divert attention from what is actually going on politically and legislatively. I think people shouldn't be able to vote unless they have a basic understanding of how the government works and current events that hold political weight. Educated votes, not pretty faces or fast talkers.

When he first got going with his rhetoric against Mexicans, I was annoyed because I thought he was unnecessarily alienating American neighbors, trading partners or allies, in order to cater to the grumpiness of some particular constituency in the electorate, and that this showed poor national leadership instincts. I thought he was playing "TV Trump" ego games.

I also continue to be somewhat concerned that he's not as serious a candidate as he says he is, and will drop out again as he has in the past.

However, I have switched from continuing to dislike him intensely as a personality, to being glad he's in the race in the manner that he is. He's stirring things up that needed to be stirred up. I personally think there's a lot of other concerns facing this nation other than illegal immigrants from Mexico, so the fact that his candidacy so far seems to focus almost entirely around that issue is a concern. But he is at least stimulating some of the other Republicans to get out of their comfort zones of platitudes, and pushing them to at least THINK about proposing actual action.

Things I don't like, include the tired Republican game of attacking "political correctness," as though it's a "brave" thing to do so. Especially since the Right wing anti-political correctness campaign turned into a form of rampant Political Correctness of it's own.

What I want from a leader is someone who doesn't bother to talk about being "politically incorrect," and who just talks directly about a given issue. As long as someone makes a point of saying they are being politically INcorrect, they aren't addressing the problem, they are just blathering about how to TALK about the problem.

Enough. Address the issues themselves. Not the LABELS on the issues. I feel like I'm in a country where I point out that there's a steaming pile of poop in the middle of the room, and a Democrat tells me I shouldn't call it poop, and a Republican laughs at the Democrat and gets cheered on for saying we should all call it a pile of ****, while in the mean time, THERE'S STILL A BIG STEAMING PILE OF POOP STINKING UP THE PLACE, AND NO ONE IS MOVING A MUSCLE TO CLEAN IT UP.

well I care because of something called truth in advertising

if one of his strengths is allegedly his business sense, and a supporter puts forth an example,,,,,,I care to know the example is actually true,,,,

which by the lack of information, is not looking likely,,,lol
