Most commonly, it is a result.
If it's your primary GOAL, then you have to adjust how you behave. There are two basic methods I have witnessed: 1. The result is a One Night Stand. 2. Try your best to be honest and forthcoming, communicate clearly, and search earnestly for an actual mate. Then, when you finally find someone who wants to give you a sexual try, you enjoy this, and cross your fingers (figuratively). When you or the other person finds that your evening of sexual experimentation is unsatisfactory in some way, you or they resolve never to repeat it. The result is now called a O.N.S. |

And even if they don't, you wanna be sure the danged thing isn't past its sell-by date. And at least if you have him use your own, you know it hasn't been in his back pocket or wallet for at least 6 months and got so fumbled it possibly has holes or tears in it. No one wants a bun in the oven! So in the (one) night stand ... condoms! |

I think the reason many people don't get what they want. ..is simply because they don't ask. People are afraid of being judged, if you can make them feel safe you'd be surprised what people will do, especially in Vegas

my very serious relationship started as a one night stand - when i was very very young
we then kept standing for about another 500+ nights. |

In the 80's and 90's my favorite "pickup" place was the dance clubs. You'd ask some one for a dance, sit and talk dance a couple of hours with different gals. Then at the end of the night you had about 5 or 8 possible canidates. You'd narrow it down to 3 more dances and drinks. By closing time you'd ask or they would ask. Then it was off to a pre-brokered hotel for a night cap. Then they would either spend the night or not. For me the socializing and dancing was already fun. The one night stand would be the dessert!
Sometimes a fling would develope. Varying from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Dance hall gals were also very phisically fit. Ciao! |
