I'm surprised nobody posted this news yet here...but it makes me wonder if anyone else went missing on mingle ? Scary...
Washington post: SEATTLE — A man dismembered a nurse and mother of three in her suburban home then drove her head and other remains to Seattle, where they were found in garbage bags in a recycling bin, authorities said Tuesday. The disclosure came as a King County judge ordered the suspect in the case, John Robert Charlton, held on $2 million bail and prosecutors said he could face a second-degree murder charge. Charlton has a criminal history and his parents had sought a restraining order against him in 2006, saying he had taken the movie “Hannibal” — about a serial killer — from a shelf and told his mother she should watch it and “beware.” Charlton, 37, was arrested Monday after police said remains believed to be those of Ingrid Lyne of Renton were found over the weekend in a homeowner’s recycling bin. A head, arm with a hand, lower leg and foot were recovered, court documents state. Lyne, 40, was reported missing on Saturday. The coroner’s office was working to confirm the remains were hers. Lyne had planned to go on a date to a Mariners baseball game Friday night, friends said. A neighbor told detectives she had been dating a man named John. Charlton told police he went to the baseball game with Lyne and returned to her home that night but was so intoxicated he couldn’t recall what happened. He said he had been dating Lyne for about a month. Seattle police detectives searched Lyne’s suburban home Sunday and found a 15-inch pruning saw near the bathtub, an empty box of plastic garbage bags identical to the type containing the body parts, and collected swabs of suspected blood, according to court documents. Jennifer Worley, a King County prosecutor, said investigators found bits of human flesh and blood in the bathtub near the saw. Police said Charlton had abrasions on his forehead and hand, injuries to his lip and chin, and scratches on his chest. ya but I bet there is a certain draw of the sociopaths to the ease of the internet dating scene..
1. you create you own persona online and choose what pics and info you present yourself as 2. you decide who to chat with..now if you are a manipulator, scammer, or nut job you know the 'type' that you are looking for 3. you present yourself as Prince Charming or Princess for that matter 4. same reasons a married man lies, a scammer creates a web of lies..a nut job would do the same thing..in order to capture you in his web of deceit 5. by the time you find out he is married well ya might just feel a bit stupid and get up and leave the restaurant, if someone scammed you out of money out of goodness of your heart well ya might feel a bit foolish 6. it's not like they are doing a background check in order for ya to sign up for a free online dating site |

...And I thought police would have already contacted the Mingle 2 administrators since it is in the news worldwide...

Yea his facebook account is still there as well. Most likely it is so they can look at the accounts for any information that is needed..
Even if they had contacted the site we would not know about it only those in Admin would. It is scary out there you never know.. It is very sad for her and her family specially the kids.. If she had done a background check she would have come up with some red flags... I advise anyone to do some research prior... But then after 8 weeks of dating you would think that some would have surfaced.. This is just heartbreaking that people are like this ~~ Pretty sad when parents have to put a restraining order on their own kids cause they are scared of them... I found it but can't remember the link I hit it had his Police Records on it and there were several incidents on his report for different things. |
