I stop smiling when I'm tired. That's how people can tell I'm about to fall asleep. I stare at the TV.

When I just started working at my curent location, there was this woman whose RBF was a permanent feature .

She never responded to anyone's morning greetings including mine.

And then one day, after she ignored my salutations as usual, I stooped down by the table she was eating at, looked her straight in the eye, beamed at her for a couple of seconds and uttered in a serene and sincere tone. "Good morning"

She reciprocated my greetings with a quizzical look on her face.

After that day, not only did she start responding to my greetings regularly, but she started initiating them herself.

Fast forward to 2 years later and she is all smiles around me. In fact she and I even took a trip together, which I have never done with other people I am closer to on staff.

So under this woman's RBF exterior, she has turned out to be one of the most animated persons I know.

Go figure...laugh

To people that don't know me.. I don't think I have one.

Bundy yes, a prime example of how looks can be deceiving.

A guy who was in my class at school got jail for a double murder years later.
Chilled me to the bone to think I played football with him and spent years in the same class room as him.

He had one of those faces were butter wouldn't melt too.

Except for the eyes, some of his former co workers and such said at times his eyes were the coldest and emptiest they had ever seen. I believe it was Ann Rule that made that comment.

He was quite engaging, friendly etc.. and then there were moments where the mask would drop but she didn't realize it at the time.
