I use it to keep in touch with family, friends and also education purposes.
I use it to ring and Skype with.

It's how you use it and what the purpose is.
I don't hang out my laundry for everyone to see.
I don't want people know me that well lol

It can be a useful tool if used right.

Painlessly .. had to create one coz some websites require FB account to login. When I didn't need it any more just deleted .. and no remorse :)

I just don't 'get' FB.
The pages take forever to load.
People make friendship requests
and I have no idea who they are.

It's like WalMart for me..I use it
but I don't always like to.

Sorry, I've never subscribed to the government's voluntary privacy invasion program. I like have only 20 friends, that are real and I see them often.

I'm with Rob....I already know what my friends and family are up to. Seems redundant to see it again in cyber.
And I just don't have the motivation to babysit another social media profile.

I don't knock anyone else for doing so though...especially if their family is spread out.

I hate Facebook I run a group over there so I have an account.
I do chat with people there that are friends..

I had a FB page years ago. Then my entire family decided to start drying their laundry out there and my phone would blow up asking me if I had seen this or that. I would reply NO and I dont' want to either... That wasn't good enough.

Now I have a page for group friends a few close friends etc.. Family isn't allowed near it. laugh

But Honestly if I didn't run a support group over there I wouldn't be on it.

Humm have it and on it every day~~~

It is where all my family in town and those out of town all keep in touch with each other.. as well as friends..

With my family/friends if they decide to do the drama stuff I hit delete see ya...

Most of my time on there is to play games~~

It can be a good thing or a bad thing it all depends who you accept.. Myself if I don't know them and they are not family, then they are not on there...

Actually have a lot of members that was here back when it was JSH on there... We have keep in touch all this time..

I have a f/b account and I am on it on a daily basis. I tend not to air my dirty laundry on there. Basically go on to keep in touch with old friends, grammar school friends, high school friends, people from my hometown, people I use to work with, etc., etc. Oh......and I play a couple of the games on there as well.

I tried facebook because my family used it and I thought that's a good way to communicate with then. But while I found facebook easy to use in some ways and not in other ways. I am disturbed about privacy a lot with it and I don't like the idea it showing the friends you have made for others to look into them. I think facebook is the most popular right now because they have build over quite a few years their reputation as the best social commuication app, but I think they will eventually lose some of that popularity with their members who just need a chat program. I hope that people will try Google Hangouts or Yahoo Chat or many other apps for that. I people want their lives on stage for eveyone to see then I guess those people should stay with Facebook.

Thanks for hearing me.

I wasn't allowed to have a facebook page when I was married, but she said she needed it because of work, BS. I'm sure that how she met the guy she left me for, but good more me, sorry about his luck. I have it now, but just to keep in touch with classmates.
