In my town there are not a lot of stores that are economical. The local Walmart offers large choice at affordable prices. I do the majority of my shopping there and so do many others.

Being alone for so long I have lost touch with the signals available women at our age use to let us know they are interested in meeting us. Oh, there are a few that are over the top with their intentions but they are usually married or already engaged in a relationship.

If you are single, shy and alone...

What day of the week do you usually go to Walmart for shopping?
I have no set day of the week.

What time of day?
I usually go late morning/early afternoon.

When you see someone you are interested in, do you give them subtle hints that you are interested?

What are some of the things you do to let them know?

I tend to focus on the task at hand when shopping. I can be pretty dense when it comes to subtle hints to me from strangers. It usually doesn't register that someone was following me around till I get home...then its too late to do anything.

On the other hand, I am fully aware that just because a woman makes eye contact and smiles doesn't mean she wants to get to know me better. I understand that just because she talks to me doesn't mean she wants to go have coffee. Plus, just because we end up in the same isles with the same selections in our carts doesn't mean we are compatible.

I just can't help but to think that I may have missed opportunities with some very fine women because I am too stupid to read the signs they are giving me. Can anyone help me out?

Yes I happen to know gals prefer bacon over beef jerky, but greeneyes is on the right track.

Wink at her.. strike up a conversation then invite her to lunch at the "all you can eat" Chinese buffet.. and make sure you have enough time.. as you may be there for awhile.

Yes I have had that was someone flirting thought later. I usually dismiss it as someone following me to panhandle when the security people are out of earshot.

Best I can do is say offer a business card with your Mingle address.

I like Walmart Mondays or Tuesdays 9-10am. Best. laugh I do not like huge shopping crowds with adults with kids. I get in and out of there fast.
Not the best place to find a date!!! Imo
