Book Review:

I pre-oredered "Duma Key" by the master: Stephen King.
Received it last week and uh, finished it last night.

WOW - this one is great and although not as suspensful
as some of his books, it was a great read. Some terror
moments and a fabulous ending. I think he finally has
the "ending" a book thing down. So many others have had
bad endings... at least for me.

Am also re-reading "Anna Karenina."

My favorite, all time, ever book is:
"Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand

How about you all? Read any good books lately?

Yes, but I don't generally look in the movies and tv section. I just finished "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe" by Fannie Flagg; and "Lisey's Story" by Stephen King. This may not be the forum where all the readers are posting, though.

Not a big stephen king fan, but yeah. One of my favorite authors is frank peretti, If you haven't heard of him it is because he mostly writes christian fiction, but he is really good at it. One of his best books, in my opinion, is The Oath. They are supposed to be adapting it to a movie...i can't wait!

Read Atlas Shrugged, as well, and Anna Karenina.

My favorite book of all time is probably "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson.

Holy cow! Someone else read this book. This was a great book. I especially liked Katz. He was the star of the show.

I may just read it again now.

Duma Key sounds like the protaganist was injured in the construction site accident described in "The Talisman", is that correct?

I wouldnt be surprised if this was connection, all his books (and some books not written by him oddly) fit into the dark tower mythos in some way

I love to read...place a book in front of me and it looks intresting i'll read it...If it ends up coming out on movie...i wont watch the movie cuz they tend to ruin the books...or mess things up....I like fansty novels the best...i just read books 1-11 of daughters of the moon by LYNNE EWING...in about 2 days...Just how i am
