you've never met? A friend asked me this and I thought it was a worthwhile question. I'd say yes.

If there is someone I talk to on a daily basis, I miss their voice when I do not hear it or their words when there are none to read.

Sure it is... You don't have to meet someone to enjoy talking/chatting with them..

Wow! I asked someone this very question recently, and I agree, it's possible.

Yes but until you have met them you are missing only what you perceive them to be like in real life.

Edit - i was assuming you meant missing someone because they are far away, not because they are offline for a bit.

True but if it's not romantic only as friends I think it's more possible to feel/believe that they are who the say they are...

I agree to a certain extent, but... Perhaps I miss the way someone makes me smile or laugh when I do not talk to them. Maybe I miss the way they answer a question that will give me unforeseen wisdom and insight...

I agree, but even still, until you meet someone you dont know how much you know someone. You may feel you know someone really well, and you may well be right, but you will never know you are right until you have met.

I just spun in a circle, but I know what you mean and it's true....

I think its more about missing the company.

If u get used to having nice chats with someone, u start to look forward to seeing them online, and if they aint, sometimes u wish they were, cos u miss their company.

I believe you can, yes. If two people talk on the phone for long periods of time. You miss just talking to that person, hearing their voice, their communication.

Yes it is possible!!

Sometimes you meet someone and it begins over the phone

Long converstations

Sometimes about nothing but feels like everything!

Then you miss the voice-thepersonality behind the voice -the laughter-the silence

And people who ARE NOT playing head games know it! You know by the connection being made with each other. And you both enjoy it!

And it feels good!!
happy
