Signs your partner is a player

Did you know signs your partner is a player? Players do not care about the feelings of the people they are dating. To them, it more about having fun and taking people’s feelings for granted than it is about being genuinely invested in a relationship. If you are dating a player, you aren’t the only one they are dating. The good morning message you wake up to is forwarded to four other people, and the pet name you think they made up for you alone is the name they have called people before you.

Players can be so smooth, it will be hard to tell it is what they are. They say the right things, make the most romantic gestures and have a way of making you go from mad with anger to smitten by love. If you are dating a player, it will be hard to stay angry with them for too long or be reasonable when you are around them. Sometimes, even though your head is seeing all the red signs, your heart wants them still.

A girl don't know signs her partner is a player

Don’t fall victim. Here are signs your partner is a player:

1. They don’t take some calls in front of you

Phone calls and messages are personal. If you and your partner have been dating for a while, they should trust you enough to take calls before you. Yes, there are some sensitive calls they may go away to receive because they need some quiet. However, if your partner doesn’t answer most calls when you are around or have to go away to take calls, so you don’t hear, they are most probably talking to the other people they are dating too and do not want you to hear.

2. They disappear without explanation

Your partner probably has a life beyond your relationship. This will mean that they won’t spend all their time with you. However, when they are away, you know what they are spending their time on; work, school, family, hobby or whatever.

If you are dating a player, some of the time they spend away will not be explained. They will disappear for no reason, and even when they tell where they have been, it doesn’t add up. Well, they have gone to spend time with other people they are dating.

3. They are too smooth

Sometimes, your relationship with a player can feel too good to be true. They do all the right things and say all the right words, and are charming and are easily likeable by your family and friends. They look good, smell nice, and know how to put up a show.

This expertise can come as a result of expertise from being with so many people.

4. They are liars

If you are dating a player, one of the major signs is they tell a lot of lies to cover up their tracks. They are smooth liars and very defensive.

If your partner lies at the slightest chance, even when it is unnecessary, if a lot of things they say do not add up, that could be because they are playing you. Even though they are with you, they are also with other people.

5. It’s more about sex than anything else

Sex is beautiful, especially with the right person. If you are dating someone you are emotionally and physically connected to, chances are that you will have sex often. However, that doesn’t mean the relationship should be all about sex.

If all your partner is all about is sex, you are most probably dating a player. They do not really care about getting to know you deeply or other aspects of your life. They want to get laid all the time. Red sign! They are playing you. You know why? What most players want is sex. That is why they are dating you and five other people at the same time.

6. They forget your name

You guys have with been dating for a while yet they struggle with your name. Sometimes, they even call you the name of someone else. They claim they are not good with names. Well, that’s not true. They are dating so many of you, and they don’t know who is who.

7. They don’t commit

Players hate commitment. This is not to say that everyone who hates commitment is a player. However, it is a thing for players to only focus on the present. They do not want to plan or talk about the future with you.

Sometimes, chronic players go beyond and pretend to be committed to you. That is so their game can be believable. They are committed to you and a commit of other people too. In fact, they are public property.

8. They go out of their way to hide your relationship

Players go out of their way to hide their relationship. Now, some people are very private and do not want to go public with their relationship. However, most players deliberately go out of their way to hide people they are dating. They make so much effort not to introduce you to important people in their lives, post your pictures on social media or be seen with you in public.

This is so other people they are dating don’t find out about you.

9. Their friends are players

Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are.

Often, players have a clique of people like them. They hang out with fellow players because their lifestyle match.

Who are your partner’s friends? Are they sincere and committed in their relationship, or are they dating tens of thousands of people all at once?

10. You think he is a player

More often than not, listening to your instinct is the safe thing to do. If you have the slightest inclination that the person you are dating is a player, if you are having doubts or staying up late at night asking Google if your partner is a player, he most probably is!
