Without a doubt Glenn. One thing this war has done is rob people
of all reason. If you believe in what we are doing you're a "warmonger"
if not you're a "liberal peacenik". There HAS to be some kind of middle
ground, doesn't there?

Since the war in Vietnam was televised and beamed into the american
family living room for viewing every evening the military has become
ever more conscious of how it is viewed both by it's own citizenry and
the world in general and this has affected our ability to fight for the
negative. While I don't agree with all of the ways this war (and it IS
a war) is being fought; all of the things this Sergeant says I've heard
from several of the members of the military I speak with. Being
concerned with how we treat prisoners (and the Geneva convention does
not apply), if there may be civilian casualties, providing comfort for
the journalists in a war zone are all things that should not factor into
how we fight this war. Give our soldiers the equipment they want and
need... then get out of the way. If people in Norway, New York, London,
or Egypt don't like the way this war is being fought I'm sorry but the
object is to win, not to make everyone feel good and fuzzy on the
inside.

Go Cards! I'm going to St. Louis in June for Cardinals baseball, a
couple dinners on The Hill, and my brothers wedding; I'm excited about
two of those things. *rolls eyes*

Sweetklp40 "Nick" on CSI is George Eads(Sp). But as for the person I'd
have dinner with would either be Stan Musial or Samuel L. Jackson.

I'll have to go with a rare porterhouse and lobster, a baked potato
(just butter), corn-on-the-cob, a slice of tirimisu from any restaurant
on The Hill and a big glass of Coke.

When I eat cereal it's either Golden Grahams or Cocoa Pebbles.

Actually our biggest need is either a 3 down lineman or a true MLB
(Patrick Willis comes to mind) who can help stop the run. Upgrading the
secondary is something to look at if someone falls into the 3rd round or
later (ala Jimmy Williams last year though I realize he fell into the
2nd not 3rd but for a projected high #1 pick that's a fall). Byrd had
some problems learning the offense that's why he didn't play quite as
much as some thought he would, but his blocking earned him his playing
time you're right about that. Losing Archuleta was sort of addition by
subtraction because as good as he was against the run he was atrocious
against the pass (a poor man's Roy Williams) and though his "in the box"
play was missed he couldn't stay healthy long enough to be a full time
contributor.

There was actually an article on ESPN's website right after Amechi
(sp) came out about a lineman for Washington University (D-3 school in
St. Louis, MO) who's gay. His whole team knows and none seem to care
either.

I don't care who the Rams draft as long as it's a LB or a
D-lineman. That said, I'm hoping they can trade down and pick up an
extra pick in the 2nd or 3rd round and be able to draft Adam Carriker.
He'd be a nice compliment to Little and at 6'6" and 280-something he's a
bull to run against.
