You look like my ex-husband now!!!!!!! Please grow it back!!! You're too nice to remind me of him in any way!!!!sad sad sad sad

And here I was looking to get cheered up, admittedly I am bummed out that I had to cut it as short as I did, but I had no choice...

I will still be better than ANY man you will ever know... there I took nice out of the equation for ya flowerforyou

I read your reason why, hun and I agree that shaving it off is a good idea. I hope your doctor finds out the reason why it was happening, it does sound like stress related.

It must be the no hair on top of the head and the soul-patch that makes you look like him. (Don't worry....I like you much better)drinker smooched

Yes stress maybe... I have not felt stressed though. Just hope I get an answer...

You can learn a lot about people from their angry rambeling.

Anyone will vent now and then but if it is too repetative you got to wonder.

Goes both genders. Both can be bitter ect. some I think just get worn down.

Some just talk them self into what they get used to and sometimes it is habitual single. Easier to save face by saying you like being alone.

I see not trying and bashing on the opposite sex as more than a little boring...

I also see accepting being single forever as a cop out...

Well I agree with your first statement.. The second, I don't cop out, I just feel that I won't settle so if I want is unattainable, I'm fine being single... That's acceptance not coping out..

I understand not settling...
But you are still open to the idea of finding someone to share your life with therefore you are not accepting it... After all you wont know where it is coming from or how it will hit you but you are still open to the idea that someone is there.

Those that refuse to be open to the idea of finding someone because they got burned a few times, are the people whom cop out...

Let me know if he says that it's that, okay? A friend of mine had it and took medicine for it. It went away.

I can do that...

make sure your doc knows that you have a CDL...medication is a real huge issue as you well know!!

diet and smoking can effect your hair as well...

Glad to see that you are going to get out of the truck for a few days once in awhile...THAT is important!!

Living in a walk-in closet can take its toll as you know!!

Stay Safe...

I hear that PDMD (professional driver medical depots) are becoming more frequent...Nashville, i think, has the original one...I know there is one or two out west as well...I noted that more truck stops are having docs and chiropractor in them as well..

Iowa 80 has everything!!

Yeah, my fleet decals are being done at the Iowa 80...

I got a great back rub in El Paso at the Petro, a professional shave at the Oak Grove 70 in Missouri, won $600 at Sky City Casino in New Mexico and the greatest shower at the Cherokee Casino Truck Stop in Oklahoma...

But you are right, living in an eight by eight box can wear on your spirit...

I have been running Solid for about a year with seven days off total out of the truck, three days at Christmas and then again four days off in the beginning of February.
I have had a couple of dates but always with the responsibility of freight so those do not count...
In effect I have been working 8 to 14 hour days, 7 days a week for the last year. So... I am suffering what some call "burn out". My hair has started to something odd and was falling out in small patches in my beard, for the last month; However, hit as gone up to my head. Small circle patches in random spots. Now the hair in my beard has started growing back in but it all stark white. The whiskers on my scalp have too started growing in on the circle patches the same, perfectly white...
Once my hair evens out I will likely let it all grow out again...

I would have donated my hair to Locks of Love, as I have in the past, but it was far to brittle and broke in half easily.

The small patches sound like alopecia areata. The hair does grow back. There is medicine for that. Have you seen a doc about it?

Not yet, been to busy, I am going in to see the Doc Monday when I get into town though...

Sounds like u've got some serious stress issues goin on. Might need to look for other line of work.ohwell

No no no... another line of work would not afford me the ability to travel nor live the lifestyle that I really do very much love...

I am going to start taking more downtime after vacation though, three days off every three weeks... "days off" meaning out of the truck with no freight...

I also have to work on my diet and get my weight back up to 175-180 where I was in January.

Not to mention I will have this baby paid off in January 2010, no work still means I am stuck with a truck payment.

Unfair of me that I am a truck driver, but I have had four dates with three different Ladies from Mingle sense I joined.

sooo i read all this now.. your girlfriend shaved your hair off , then breaks up with you? was she mad at you when she shaved it off? or did she not like it after she shaved it?.... you do have a nice shaped head, i think you looked good both ways... now for a in between look lol...

LOL

Yes she shaved it for me and REALLY liked it too, but was not mad at me at the time, so nothing bad there...

Yes we broke it off after it was shaved though it has nothing to do with hair or anything superficial...

Thank you... flowerforyou helps to know sometimes that the Hair does not make the man, but the man makes the hair... something like that anyway

Yeah, soon as I get where I want to be with the hair situation I will likely end up with something "in between"
