There are a number of Biblical descriptions of events that science might be hard pressed to account for; think the Resurrection, Lazarus, voices emanating from burning bushes, there're lots more examples. It'd be easy from a faith standpoint to attribute these to Divine influence. And, it just so happens, I believe that way, too.

But, I would certainly listen to a cogent, thoughtful, science based explanation - or even rebuttal.

I think that's what free will is. And faith, too.
