Fortress Europe builds barriers to stem the refugee flow

Sep 22, 2016

As Europe faces the most significant people movement since the Second World War the landscape of the continent is changing.

In an attempt to stem the tide and pander to an anti-immigrant agenda to ensure domestic political stability and votes;barriers are going up.

Britain is the latest to begin the construction of more than 3km of high-security fencing at the Channel Tunnel port in northern France, in an attempt to stop thousands of illegal migrants breaking into lorries bound for the UK.

Austria is Building Another Wall
http://www.thewesternchauvinist.com/austria-is-building-another-wall/

As Europe faces the most significant people movement since the Second World War the landscape of the continent is changing.

In an attempt to stem the tide and pander to an anti-immigrant agenda to ensure domestic political stability and votes;barriers are going up.

Britain is the latest to begin the construction of more than 3km of high-security fencing at the Channel Tunnel port in northern France, in an attempt to stop thousands of illegal migrants breaking into lorries bound for the UK.

The conservative government of Viktor Orban in Hungary started the trend by constructing a fence along its border with Croatia and Serbia.

The decision caused outrage, yet cut the number of border crossings from more than 6,000 a day to less than 100 in two days.

Several European states have followed suit such as Austria, Slovenia and even some Nordic countries.

Austria received 90,000 asylum applications last year a number which represents one percent of the population.

And now a wall is going up on the border with Italy and Germany.

Italy has attempted to ally fears the the govornor of South Tyrol, Arno Kompatscher, made the following statement in April: “As far as I know what’s being constructed is a platform out of concrete in order to put up a roof so that personnel carrying out the border checks have a roof over their heads.”

In Calais security has been reinforced to secure the route to the port as the wall goes up.

The refugee crisis has tested the humanitarian tolerance of Europe and beyond.

In Norway, long considered a welcoming and generous nation, a steel barrier is going up along its border with Russia.

Since the Syrian conflict erupted in 2011 around 5,500 asylum seekers have crossed into Norway.

Republican congressman takes back remark that Charlotte protesters 'hate white people'

September 22, 2016

Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.) said Thursday that he "regrets" telling the BBC during an interview that protesters in Charlotte "hate white people."

The protests against the deadly officer-involved shooting of a black man on Tuesday are being attended by people of all races. Pittenger, whose district includes areas of Charlotte where the protests are taking place, was asked by the BBC to describe the "grievance" of demonstrators. "The grievance in their minds — the animus, the anger — they hate white people because white people are successful and they're not," Pittenger said. "It is a welfare state. We have spent trillions of dollars on welfare, but we've put people in bondage, so they can't be all they're capable of being."

His comments were quickly denounced as "inexcusable" and "racist" by the North Carolina Democratic Party, The Charlotte Observer reports. Pittenger later tweeted that what is happening in Charlotte "breaks my heart," and his "anguish" caused him to "respond to a reporter's question in a way that I regret." His answer "doesn't reflect who I am," he added, and he said he was "quoting statements made by angry protesters last night on national TV" and his intent was to "discuss the lack of economic mobility for African Americans because of failed policies." He apologized to "those I offended," and said he hopes "we can bring peace and calm to Charlotte." Catherine Garcia

Yahoo Confirms 500 Million Accounts Compromised In Huge Data Breach

http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2016/09/22/yahoo-confirms-500-million-accounts-compromised-in-huge-data-breach.html?cmpid=NL_SciTech

Yahoo has confirmed that hackers stole information from at least 500 million user accounts in what it describes as a “state-sponsored” attack.

In a statement released Thursday, Yahoo’s Chief Information Security Officer Bob Lord said that the information was stolen from the company’s network in late 2014. “The account information may have included names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, hashed passwords (the vast majority with bcrypt) and, in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers,” he said.

However, an ongoing investigation into the hack suggests that stolen information did not include unprotected passwords, payment card data, or bank account information, according to Lord. Payment card data and bank account information are not stored in the affected system, he added.

The investigation has found that the attacker is no longer in Yahoo’s network. The internet giant said that it is working with law enforcement.

Yahoo is notifying potentially affected users and asking them to promptly change their passwords.

Early on Thursday Recode reported that Yahoo was set to confirm a major data breach impacting hundreds of millions of users.

Shuman Ghosemajumder, Chief Technology Officer of Shape Security, warns that the shockwaves from the breach could be felt far beyond Yahoo. “Most stories will focus on Yahoo users, but the damage there appears to have been done months ago, and Yahoo will simply reset all their passwords so no further damage can be done,” he said, in a statement emailed to FoxNews.com. “The real issue now is that these passwords will be used to breach thousands of other websites unrelated to Yahoo.”

Cybercriminals, he explained, could use advanced automated tools to discover where users have used those same passwords on other sites.

The breach could also impact Yahoo's $4.8 billion sale of its core business to Verizon. "Merger and acquisition deals always carry some level of risk - companies inherit each other’s problems such as pending lawsuits, poorly manufactured products or regulatory violations," explained Steven Grossman, VP of strategy and enablement for cyber security specialist Bay Dynamics, in an email to FoxNews.com. "Cyber-related problems are also on that list, yet, even as more companies continue to fall victim to data breaches, cyber risk is not as high a priority as it should be."

Oh, please. Sexual predators aren't the result of politics. There are such people in every group.

Unfortunately.

No one is saying, that this exists, only in political arena. Predators are everywhere.
But imo, the more power, fame, money they have the less likely they are to hide it, not because they think it is okay, but because of 'entitlement thinking' & the general public turning a blind eye & not viewing them as.... ' just another criminal'.
(And putting them up on a pedestal)

SWEDEN IN CHAOS: Number of ‘no-go zones’ INCREASED as police lose control over violence

SWEDISH police are losing the battle against increasing levels crime and violence in the country as now 55 areas have been labelled as "no-go" zones.

Sep 22, 2016

In February Express.co.uk reported the Scandinavian country has seen a huge surge in crime since the start of the migrants crisis in Europe with a rise in sex assaults, drug dealing and children carrying weapons.

The force’s increased lack of control in the country was revealed in a report by Sweden's National Criminal Investigation Service, where attacks on officers were detailed, including police cars being stoned by masked groups.

At the time around 50 areas were put on a "blacklist" which are then divided into three categories from "risk areas" to "seriously
vulnerable".

The figure has now been increased to 55 as the Swedish police force are facing a crisis, with three officers handing in their notice every day.

It is estimated that 80 per cent of the police officers are also considering changing professions, due to lack of funding and support to tackle the increasing levels of crime.

Speaking to NRK, police officer Peter Larsson said: “We have a major crisis. Many colleagues are choosing to quit.

We have a major crisis. Many colleagues are choosing to quit

Police officer Peter Larsson

“We are not investigating crimes, we don’t have time to cover the call-outs we are tasked with.

“A drastically worsened working environment means many colleagues are now looking for other work.”

A regular shift for the Swedish force includes being attacked by thugs who throw stones at the officers and their patrol cars, vehicles being set ablaze, and in some cases personal injuries.

A new report released last week revealed the situation in the country has worsened since the National Criminal Investigation Service’s document emerged in February.

A report entitled 'A national overview of criminal networks with major impact in the local community' said it was common place for unattended police cars to be attacked, for police officers to be attacked and to be exposed to threats.

It added drug and gang violence are still flourishing in the no-go zones.

Malmö in south Sweden was one of the cities which was flagged as a particularly hit area in the liberal country.

Over the past three months, Malmö, which is Sweden’s third largest city, has suffered a surge of organised crime as more than 70 cars have burned out in arsonist attacks.

Several other Swedish cities have also been plagued by thugs setting cars ablaze, according to local media.

Yea, it may be condoned, but not many western countries regularly practice it in their religion.

Allah says: “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee the wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the captives of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated with thee; …”

Allah has made marriage with first cousins lawful. There is no dispute about this in Islamic Law.

True, it is in the Quran.
Personally, I don't have a problem with other people doing it. Here in the USA, it is , ' just something that happens occasionally ' .For myself or my relatives.... no noway Not for a religious reason, or moral one, but a huge ECK FACTOR sick

Despite studies, I would be too concerned with the genetics, especially generation after generation.
And I can't understand why it would be promoted or encouraged or arraigned marriages. * Shrugs *

Cousin marriage -
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cousin_marriage/

Cousin marriage is common in the Middle East, for instance, where it accounts for over half of all marriages in some countries.[1] In some countries outside that region, it is uncommon but still legal. In others, it is seen as incestuous and is legally prohibited: it is banned in China and Taiwan, the majority of U.S. states, North Korea, and South Korea.[2] Supporters of cousin marriage where it is banned may view the prohibition as discrimination,[3][4] while opponents may appeal to moral or other arguments.[5] Worldwide, more than 10% of marriages are between first or second cousins.[6]

In the past, cousin marriage was practised
within indigenous cultures in Australia, North America, South America, and Polynesia. Various religions have ranged from prohibiting sixth cousins or closer from marrying, to freely allowing first-cousin marriage. Cousin marriage is an important topic in anthropology and alliance theory.[7]

Children of first-cousin marriages may have an increased risk of genetic disorders, but this can only be estimated empirically, and those estimates are likely to be specific to particular populations in specific environments. Some scientists contend that the risk is relatively small at 5%, compared with a 3% risk for children whose parents are not genetically related.[2][6]

According to Professor Robin Fox of Rutgers University, 80% of all marriages in history may have been between second cousins or closer.[8] The founding population of Homo sapiens was small, 700 to 10,000 individuals; therefore, a certain amount of inbreeding is inevitable.[9] Proportions of first-cousin marriage in Western countries have declined since the 19th century.[10][11] In the Middle East, cousin marriage is still strongly favored.[12][13][14]

Cousin marriage has often been chosen to keep cultural values intact, preserve family wealth, maintain geographic proximity, keep tradition, strengthen family ties, and maintain family structure or a closer relationship between the wife and her in-laws. Many such marriages are arranged (see also pages on arranged marriage in the Indian subcontinent, arranged marriages in Pakistan, and arranged marriages in Japan).[6][8][15][16][17]

Well... I double checked & ALL 5 major religions permit marrying first cousins.
However, their are sub groups/ denominations / villages/ clans.
That do not permit it or have restrictions. (Such as double first cousins, & only paternal cousins).

Many US states it is legal.

"Italy's baby blues not just a question of fertility"

http://youtu.be/7pMQak4O2yw/

Italy is marking Fertility Day to promote family planning and parenthood.

http://www.euronews.com/2016/09/21/italy-s-baby-blues-not-just-a-question-of-fertility/

The state sponsored campaign is the brainchild of health secretary Beatrice Lorenzin.

The manner of the campaign and the promotional images used has raised concerns that the Italian government sees women as baby making machines.

There is no doubt that Italy’s low birth rate and aging population are a threat to its economic future.

In fact the country has the lowest birth rate in Europe and the reasons are not just related to fertility issues, as the government appears to believe, but employment prospects and social services.

The government has a more practical role to play if the Italy is to deliver more children.

Franca Maino is from the University of Milan:“Italy doesn’t help young couples and doesn’t invest enough in family policies; data on social spending, shows that Italy invests less than 4% of its GDP on children; Italy has failing social services, especially for children. Plus Italy hasn’t invested enough in projects, which reconcile work and family life”

Solid state support bolsters families and here there are discrepancies between Italy, France and northern countries.

Franca Maino sings the praises of French policies:“France has implemented a series of measures, parental leave being a succesful example of family support policy. The CESU is another, a universal voucher, which enables parents to purchase family related services at a reduced price.”

A key component in a nations birth rate is the number of women in work, the more women in work the higher the birth rate.

Franca Maino continues:“When we compare data we see that families with two incomes can plan a family in a more rational, considered and secure environment.”

In July, unemployment in the country was 11.4 percent the fourth-highest in the 28-member European Union.

Italy's Fertility Day Falls Flat Amid Claims of Sexism, and racism.

Fertility Day was aimed at helping Italians "get busy" to boost the country's record-low birthrate, but the nationwide drive culminating Thursday delivered little more than controversy.

The first signs of fertility furor surrounded an ad campaign launched ahead of events exploring reproductive health that sparked allegations of sexism and racism.

The Health Ministry posted tweets in August showing a young woman holding an hourglass under the slogan "Beauty knows no age, fertility does." Another warned: "Hurry up! Don't wait for the stork."

The posts and pamphlets drew scorn and condemnation on social media, with critics saying people needed help finding work — not boosting their fertility.

"According to Italy's survey agency, women dream of having two children, but only give birth to 1.3 on average. They need work and help to families," leading newspaper La Stampa wrote in a front-page story.

Instead of backtracking, Italy's Health Ministry published another pamphlet with two images on its cover. One showed two smiling white couples on the seaside under the slogan: "Good habits to promote."

The second photo showed a white woman sitting with a drinking black man and a black woman appearing to smoke a marijuana. The accompanying slogan read: "Bad company to leave behind."

Users soon began to post messages under #fertilityfake as well as the official hashtag #fertilityday.

At first the ministry was unrepentant, defending the campaign and saying on its website that "racism is in the eye of the beholder." It later withdrew and pamphlet and removed the employee responsible for it.

That did little to stem the backlash, which continued right up through Thursday's events. Protesters turned out with signs saying they were "expecting" jobs and salaries, not babies.

While perhaps bungled, there are reasons behind government's effort at boosting fertility.

Recent statistics show Italy has the European Union's lowest birthrate, with eight babies born for every 1,000 residents. One couple out of five has difficulties in conceiving naturally, according to the Italian Ministry of Health.
