Yes completely. Not sure if it's the over 50 thing. The gals are looking to get serious right away.
Guess the want to get married again. The moment I catch this vibe, I lose interest. Just want someone to hang with. Marriage at this stage in life is a non starter. So the dates, 1 at least a quarter....(third shift)..Just dinner some convo....nothing interesting.

Is the doomsday device a good thing???
Well,if you watched the 1963 movie, Dr. Strangelove, you'll realize It was a parody of the news events that drew us a fraction of an inch from nuclear apocalypse,during the Cuban missile crisis in October 1962. The movie discusses a device called the doomsday bomb. An automated super bomb that is triggered automatically when the attacked country has been nuked. Cobalt jacketed nuke buried underground and activated by mainframe computers...after the people are dead. Causing a Nuclear Deathclould to circle the globe for 93 years!!! Turning the face of the earth as dead and cold as the moon!!! Great movie! A totally ridiculous premise, considering that the country that would build such a device would be counting on the inevitability of being destroyed by its opponent. Vengeance after destruction is the sheer definition of complete madness. Good post OP! |

True story,
In high school I was a wrestler and these twins had a crush on me. The would eat lunch with me and hang out. I would listen to them argue with each other and fight when one thought the other was getting more attention than the other. Date myself??? That is just nuts.. The reason I hung out with these twins?? They were insanely attractive and green eyed.....Boom goes the dynamite.. If those two dated each other, it would have been muyder!!! |
