Actually, they didn't. There was a protest at the Miss America pageant in 1968 where some feminists showed up and made a big fuss, but they did not burn any bras. What happened was a reporter made an analogy to people burning their draft cards (to avoid going to Vietnam) and somehow it was misquoted and reported that women were burning their bras. The misquote went "viral" and to this day there are still many who wrongly believe it to be true.

That's kind of out of context with this thread, but my answer is "yes". I have a couple of female friends who are breast cancer survivors, to me they are no different than any other woman except that they are stronger from the experience.

Why do women spend a fortune on shoes and then run around barefoot all the time?

First one was done using the BB code. Even typed "img" in lower case letters. The rest of the links were long shot attempts.

Several years ago I was on my way home from work during a snowstorm when I came across a small car in the ditch. I got out and made sure they were okay, then a few minutes later young lad with a 4X4 pickup stopped and offered to help pull her out. It took the two of us about 20min to get her back on the road and to check over the car to make sure it was okay to drive, the whole time with icy snow blasting away at us. Waved goodbye, everyone rolled away and I went back to get into my Jeep, only to find out the doors were locked. I must have accidentally hit the power door lock button on the way out.



So now I'm standing there in a full on blizzard, looking in at my dog who was sitting all warm and comfy in the passenger seat. There was no more traffic on the road, so I called the wife (now ex-wife) and asked her to bring my spare key. Then I occupied myself by trying to teach the dog a new trick; how to open the car door from the inside. It didn't go well. It took the ex an hour to show up because the roads were so bad (normally was a 20min drive) and I was almost hypothermic by the time she got there. I sat there for about 10min with the heater on full before I had stopped shaking enough so that I could drive home.

And ever since then, every single time I get out of the Jeep, I make sure the key is in my pocket first and take great care not to lock the door until I am standing outside and have verified that the key is in my pocket.

I've read and responded to the BB Codes thread and have tried everything I can think of, but I can not get pics from my own Photobucket account to post on here. I have the album setting to "public" and have tried every link code option (ie copy and paste) from there, but all I get showing up on here is a thumbnail that says "Photo Not Found. Click Here To View", but it's a dead link.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Good morning, Grumble Bunnies! I booked this week off so I could work on getting my motorcycle parts painted and get it all back together, so of course the weather forecast has done a 180 and I'm now looking outside at the fresh snow on the ground.

I've had much worse... I've had Army coffee while out in the field. That crap rots your tastebuds, took them 15yrs to recover after I'd retired. True story.
