Of course she got caught but what was she thinking. It was obviously not going to pass as her baby.

from what I read she was supposed to be adopting, and its also possible that she may have been light enough to have a baby that appeared white,,,, I did,,,,
No, I saw her pic on some news page yesterday, she was not light skinned. UPDATE: Her fiance was black too.

it still matters not, genetic pools can be pretty large,, black women really can give birth to VARIOUS shades of babies,,

I think peoples beliefs are their personal business, and that beliefs dont need to be tolerated unless they turn into behavior

then I think certain actual behaviors exhibited by an individual may or may not be wise to tolerate,,,,

Problem is, if the entire reason you aren't tolerating something is based on religion......then you are stepping into their personal business in effect which you really have no place doing.

huh?

You said the behaviors may or may not be wise to tolerate, and I am simply saying if you aren't tolerating them SOLELY based on a religious belief, that is wrong.

yeah, and quite difficult

people generally apply past experience or knowledge to what they read and learn to justify whether it makes sense to them, thats kind of how logic works

I dont think many people are SOLELY intolerant because of a 'religious' belief because I dont think 'religious' beliefs exist in a vaccum or are owned exclusively by religion,,,,

yeah, throwing books and things can get people hurt

physical restraint was probably the best way to reduce risk,,,as quickly as possible

They could have restrained without handcuffs.

I wasnt there, I dont know,, with glass and a shredder around, I think it was understandable to use the QUICKEST method for ensuring her safety and that of others,,,

Im from old school. The neighbor lady would spank your behind and then the parents would too. I think handcuffs is pretty light, if used as a 'restraint' which was clearly necessary in this instance,,,

What mah man was talking about was, the ONLY time the 'kill crackahs' roaches come out from behind the walls is when it's bound to be in the news.

When it's negro on negro, there is no call from the negro klan, to kill the negro.

Why is that?????

Im not sure the event he was at had anything to do with 'killing' anyone

Im also not sure when people can 'predict' something will be in the news,,,,or how many news stations will pick a story up,,,,

perhaps the News chooses to cover those stories more often then the others,, the new panthers are always newsworthy, whatever they do

and just like gloria allred is hardly going to make waves when women are abusive to other women, because she is a 'womans' advocate and not the mans

and the republicans wont make waves whenever it is implied that all those welfare moms arent 'working', because they advocate for the haves and not the have nots,,,,

the panthers probably wont make waves about blacks being abusive to other blacks,, they are advocates for 'blacks' and not for non blacks

As was mentioned already... *I* don't share

I personally think it's difficult enough dealing with just one person at a time when starting a new relationship flowerforyou

I quite likely have been wrong in the past when *assuming* that a date (or during the conversations prior to one, if those have reached the lovey dovey stage) is the time to figure out if you like one another... after that date, it should be mutually agreed that the relationship become *exclusive*.

Got burnt once... won't make that mistake again.

You know after talking to someone and spending time with them on one date that you're ready to be in an exclusive relationship? Really?

I think my heart works along those lines too,, I cant buy the car to see if I Want to keep it,, I have to want to keep it before I invest money into owning it

not to belittle men into cars,, just making an analogy,,, I cant see being 'exclusive' with someone that I hardly know,,,,but Im also not into the casual sex...so maybe thats a factor

I would never be sleeping with anyone that I had not already become 'exclusive' with,,,

noway noway

if it was a white shooting a black it would be lead story on almost every news show ...... but i hear it here 1st ..... whats up with that

frustrated frustrated frustrated

I think its regional and cultural. Crimes are usually reported locally based upon where they happen. You can find them daily in your own newspaper or on your local news.

Why some stories get more sensational coverage is a question that will probably never have an adequate answer

black folks wonder why its white babies or white girls who 'seem' to get tha national coverage when they are missing

and white folks wonder why white on black crime 'seems' to get the national coverage

and poor folks wonder why rich folks kids so often get 'sentenced' to rehabs when they are under the influece while poor folks and their kids generally just go to jail and start building their record,,,,

,,,etc,,,etc,,

Yes it matters if she was black...was her boyfriend white or black? That will tell a lot. Maybe she planned on selling the baby. From what I know she told her boyfriend she was pregnant...but who knows.

This happened in Texas, they'll fry her quickly. I wonder if they'll put a bounty out on her like they did on Zimmerman? Hey all's fair.

what would the bounty be for? havent the cops already captured and incarcerated her for the killing?

When does something become exclusive?

How do you know?

Is there an assumption or is it something to be discussed and mutually agreed upon?

If you are 'dating' someone, do you know or care whether they are also dating others?

would it cause jealousy or problems if someone that was 'dating' you, that you were developing feelings for, was dating others as well?

How would you discuss it,, ,,,how would you bring it up?

,,,I imagine I will have to tackle dating eventually, but its new to me because I Was always someones 'wife' and the commitment is important to me.

Just looking for some opinions and I know this is where to find them....lol

I WAS LOOKING FOR WHY AMERICANS CLING TO A DOCUMENT WRITTEN BY IMPERFECT MEN(from womanizers, to adulterers, to slaveholders) TO DEFINE THE PERFECT AMERICA,,,,, I thought this piece was inciteful,,,

The Folly of Strict Constitutional Constructionism
Posted on June 10, 2011 by David W. Boles

English language experts wrote the United States Constitution. When those authors wrote — “in order to form a more perfect Union” — they were making a hard and specific point that is lost on many of us today.

From a purely grammatical perspective, “in order to form a more perfect Union” doesn’t make sense because the word “perfect” is not a comparative, it is an absolute — just as the phrase “more unique” doesn’t make sense because the word “unique” is also an absolute.

What, then, were our forefathers trying to teach us about the real meaning of that phrase? They knew something we do not!

Our founding fathers knew that human beings are imperfect and, because the Constitution was written by them — imperfect people, too — it too, was imperfect and, by definition, unfinished and flawed and open to interpretation. Our Constitution was written to be a breathable document. Our Constitution was drafted to change with the times and to provide a basis for thinking and not something that was strict and absolute.

We must be wary of people who use the “strict Constitutionalist” argument for appointing judges and ruling — We The People — because the Constructionists are building their reasoning on a purposefully flawed notion that was originally intended to guide us without mandating. Deconstructing the Constitution to pull out bits of it to serve a narrow political purpose is precisely not what the document was intended to inspire. In fact, the document clearly condemns that sort of thinking against action.

We must also be aware of cunning charlatans who will use our most famous document as bus advertising for their personal profiteering on the backs of regular Americans.

Our Constitution was written to live and breathe to be free. Don’t let anyone persuade you against that American ideal. Our forefathers wrote the Constitution, not to restrict us to a certain place and time, but to demand that we keep thinking as our lives of this nation expand.

We, and our Constitution, are works in progress, and the clue to that thinking is embedded right there in the document in a purposeful, and thrilling, grammatical error — “in order to form a more perfect Union” — and the ongoing moral duty falls to us to accept there will always be more work to do, and we owe it to each other, We The People, to facilitate an open interpretation of a piece of paper that was intended to refine us, not just define us.

I mean, it's such a controversy for a politician to have a drink and dance a little, right?

Only when it's a Democrat. Usually after they start drinking the bodies start pileing up, just as Mary Jo! Oh wait, sorry she's dead.

So.. you think Clinton having one drink at a 30 minute party is a bad thing and is newsworthy?

damn barflys... when will those lushes learn? the fate of the world is at stake, and here they are sitting in a bar, in another country... why do we even elect these types of people?

lol,, ummmm because they have to deal with a GLOBAL economy and GLOBAL politics,, and therefore travel to other countries

would it be better if they spent their time at an ice cream stand brushing each others hair?

Alright, so i have been seriously offered five grand a month from a man just to fulfill his "fantasies." I almost considered it, but i have some morals, do you think this is basically the same as being a prostitute? Except it's one man.

yeah, if its a direct exchange of sex for money

if there is going to be some actual 'relationship' involved,, maybe its more of a gift,,,
