I concur

I think part of the complication is in the details in determining 'honest' self defense from negligence or recklessness resulting in death,,,
That is true of any crime being investigated. The details, the evidence is what matters.

true

as well as motive and opportunity,,,and other things

Devil is in the details, could be good for him, could be bad. I think that its happening out in the open is good for honest objective people.

My only hope is that this will alleviate the anti 2a groups ability to use this against honest self defense claims in the future.

Freedom of speech crosses the line when we call for the "whatever" of others.

This hate speech is as much vigilante as the shooting itself.

is calling for and predicting the same thing?

which is extended from the already existent AUMF

I hope we are careful of becoming word police

freedom of speech and all....

on the other hand, however thin the line, I think we DO need to pay particular attention to certain types of speech and deter and penalize it,,,,althought that goes against EVERYTHING constitutionalists could ever support given the right to free speech,,,

That woman can call white people names all day, I could care less what this ignorant piece of human garbage thinks about me. The problem is that she called for the kidnapping or murder of Zimmerman.

a matter of interpretation I Guess

I saw it as her predicting something, rather than calling for it,,,

I dont think they fear race riots, this isnt the first time the sanford police has overlooked such a death with 'potentially' racially divisive elements and there were no riots then either

I think the parents and pundits and radio newscasters have PREDOMINATELY been calling for the FACTs to be presented and DISCOURAGING further violence, encouraging political action instead,,,,

if there is any fear, it could be higher ups wanting to be reelection, but even that doesnt make since because minorities are less than ten percent of the population there and most supporting no arrest are white or mexican , who make up the majority of the population. So it actually endangers reelection more for them to choose to endite, unless they have the case that validates that decision.

Your right Ms H. Actions speak louder than words, or pics, the list however is only a part of his treasonous legacy in office, and all are reported facts and actual exec orders he has made!

most of what is listed about bills being signed is, of course, verifiable and true

the opinions of what the bills did or who is responsible for them is a big part of that list though,,,

I know some pressure spots , and holding my keys between my fingers,,,etc,,,

those are simple things women can learn, I never considered myself as having learned 'self defense' per se though

the shopping list is a bunch of subjective personal opinion

doesnt need proving or disproving

and you should follow your own advise

the PRESIDENT does not salute or put his hand on his heart during the playing of hail to the chief

here is the COMPLETE ceremony(including the portion where he DOES place his hand over his heart in respect),,,

NOBODY puts their hand over their heart during hail to the chief.... why your explanation doesn't hold water since the one guy is still in reverance to the flag....

As for the list.... these are facts, not personal opinions.

The pic could be on an outhouse wall, it doesn't change anything in its validity!

nobody puts their hand on their heart? really? so you believe EVERYONE is aware of proper 'protocol' and never uses the incorrect gestures?

your list was opinion , and the pic is irrelevant where it is concerned

"Dead thugs"? Wow, I hope that she makes a lot of money off that.sad2

To me the bottom line is, Zimmerman was doing something for his community or at least trying to. Trevon Martin? Who knows what he was doing. That still hasn't been figured out. Although there is some here that think they know everything and have all of the answers. That just shows how less credible they are and their arguments are motivated by hate and anger. It's sad to see reason blinded by their know it all attitude. sad2

Zimmerman was acting in "Good Cause"

yeah, the cause was making sure the ahole (because he must be a crook walking around at night from a store and gazing at homes) didnt get away

and he succeeded,,,,,

me neither

the law is ambiguous about what is a justified 'right' and what is not

like the 'right' to walk the street without malice or harassment

and the 'right' to follow someone around at night,,,,

the right to free speech and expression to accuse the President of treason (still a crime punishable by death?)

the 'right' to make a citizens arrest if someone seems 'suspicious'

and the 'right' to call for the capture of someone who seems to be 'criminal'

,,,crazy thing, the mallibility of the laws,,,

Just goes to show, it's not Al Sharpton or any other mobs decision or choice. Once again, the Justice System has once again worked.

I agree, lets see what the investigation continues to turn up,,,,and what happens from there,,,,

It's a Done Deal.

dont bet on it

they didnt use a grand jury for OJ either,,,its not an absolute,,,

Where is O.J now?
look in Nevada. when Obama leaves office
There will be a Pardon for him.

what?

OJ is serving a ridiculous sentence for a ridiculous offense to punish him for not receiving the verdict the authorities wanted him to receive in his first trial

there wont be a pardon,,,they worked too hard to get him where he is,,,,

Robbery is a ridiculous offense?!?!?!?!

when the items are yours,, yep....

If the items were his , why did he use a gun instead of the law to get them? The authorities that you speak of, would they be white authorities in your mind? spock

HE didnt use a gun

the people who rolled on him and got deals, and told him about the items and took him to where they were,, are the ones who actually had weapons,,,,

You don't have to use a gun or even a weapon to commit Robbery in the states of California and Nevada. The use or threat of or the use of force to take items from another is considered robbery.

Just like if I catch a shoplifter and they swing on me while still holding the merchandise, they would get charged with Robbery.

WTF does a gun have to do with anything?

''sigh,, certainly you realize the idea of justice when comparing penalities for someone who actually PULLS a trigger as opposed to someone who incited them to do it?

or when comparing just penalties between the person who has a WEAPON to intimidate others and the person who is in the company of those holding the weapons?

the SENTENCE is suspect when those with the GUNS got lesser charges than the one WITHOUT,,,

Let's review, it's Florida it wasn't cold and that is why senior citizens go there during the winter. It didn't warrant wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up to conceal your identity in a store(which is never warranted btw).

NICE TRY,, why is he heard saying its cold on the tape then? Florida does get cold at night,,,,it doesnt stay hot 24/7 365,,,,,travel a bit,,,,

No, it is pretty warm there around the clock, much like Vegas. But you will whatever you can to defend the PUNK.

Pah. Wishful thinking on your part.

As per the 911 tape...

Zimmerman stated it was raining... ergo Hoody UP.

I would like to see this tried in a court of law. I will not convict either man...

Nor will I stand by and say nothing when twisted facts are relayed.

Those tropical rains are just so cold...........whoa

still no answer on why Zimmerman was wearing a HEAVY JACKET,,,much heavier than what a hoody is,,,,,????

Yes, we will probably never know everything. yawn

no, but we can make logical conclusions

if someone was wearing a heavy coat and taped saying 'its cold'

and the average nighttime low in that ragion at that time is in the mid fifties to sixties

,,,it was probably cold enough for a hoody,,,

and if that fails, there is generally a weather forecast that can be recalled and reviewed, to help with that particular knowledge

It get's a lot colder here then they could ever dream of and I have NEVER wore a hood up on a hoodie.........

still not sure why these posts are stated so matter of factly

simple research of the two areas and their climates is all it would take to refute the notion that its never colder in florida than in nevada, or that there is not hoody weather in either place

hoodies are not HEAVY material, they hust have hoods
and ZIMMERMAN himself is seen on tape wearing a HEAVY jacket

so the very claim that Florida is not ever cold enough for a hoodie must come from intellectual dishonesty or plain ignorance,,,,

Hoodies with hoods up are what gang members and PUNKS do and wear to try to be hard a$$e$.

just the type of philosophy I dont want coupled with somoene bearing a weapon,,,,,

teens of all ages and backgrounds wear hoodies, because they are a fashion trend,,,,,

For PUNKS and HOOLIGANS.

yeah thats what the manufacturers advertised them as

punk and hooligan wear,,,

whoa

wow, this is incredible on so many levels

not only is the picture admittedly old

the SOURCE used is an urban legends site DEBUNKING The claim

"Lastly, there's a perfectly good reason why President Obama wasn't saluting when the emailed photo was taken, even though everyone else on the dais was. C-Span video footage reveals that the moment in question occurred just after Obama was introduced and the band began playing "Hail to the Chief."

Yeah, Amerikans want to sit here and raise their kids... while their military marches around the earth, unfettered, killing millions. Our violence will come back to haunt us. Do you not think the parents in Iraq wanted to just raise their kids? We killed between 1.5 and 2.5 million of them. And, this military machine (that you gloat of) will be on its last legs. America, the corporation, is OUT of cash.

careful, you might be outcast like Rev Wright with words like that,,,,

if you ask, assume the other person is assuming you are offering to pay,,,,

words can make subtle differences too

as in

'Do you want to go out for a dinner'

vs

'Would you like to meet somewhere for dinner'

the first would imply, to me anyhow , someone is offering to treat me

the latter would imply someone is just offering to 'meet' at a mutual place as two seperate bills,,,,
