With all the media convicting the guy, he won't get a fair trial. Media should be accused of swaying a jury. He is screwed. He has already been tried and convicted in the court of public opinion thanks to two of the biggest racists in America and the rest of the world, Jesse Jackson Senior and Al Sharpton. Yes... And so also has the Young Man been tried by the likes of yellow journlism and the racists on the other side. don't you get it. The young man died precisely because of that... (no matter the law or the rights of it)... Simply because of the need to go armed INSIDE one of our own villages. (a place where we should all be safe and have no need to thump our chests). Yet when I hear a discussion of this case most of the comments are directed at the color of the skins of the two that were most severely effected by it. Where are your hearts? With out them in humble mode no justice will every be pure. I think its heightened because of one being an unarmed child as well,,,that really is what is pulling at the heartstrings of moms like me who are raising sons Don't raise your kids to be punks like this kid was and you will be fine. more ASSumptions,,,, No just facts. If this kid would have been white you wouldn't be defending him like you are this punk. lets review a kid, walking from the store, at night, in the cold, being followed in a car by a grown man the kid changes directions , the man exits the car to follow him on foot the kid RUNS,,,the man lets cops know to call him when they get there so he can tell them where he will be the girlfriend hears the boy ask the man why he is following him, after the boy has TWICE tried to lose him, to which the man only replies 'why are you here' there is a fight, the boy is shot dead,,, nope, regardless of the color,, I Would consider the armed adult in the situation RESPONSIBLE for a death due to reckless behavior,,, |

NBC. We lie if we can get away with and burn somone when we get caught. Their reporters should be court ordered to wear that banner while reporting. NBC has ALOT of employees,,,each can decide what they are gonna do or not do and take the risks that come with it,,,, Msharmony,You spend so much time defending your liberal friends and their misguided views. Have you ever thought that most liberal policies are what they are...wrong? Remember, you never have to defend what is right and true. It will stand on it's own.Anyways, good luck honey. without defending what is right and true, things like liberation from England, the constitution, civil rights,,,etc,,, would never happen but if you prefer defending what is wrong and false,,,good luck honey... ![]() |

So, he forced the punk to attack him. Punks only attack if they are with a group or if, they think they have an easy target. sometimes punks attack, sometimes they first harrass and confront, and sometimes they dont have as easy a target as they are used to having in their past,,,like wives, officers, and other 'suspects'.... and then punks use guns,,, |

According to another thread, it is looking like Zimmerman killed a negro punk in self defense. Give him a medal. Hopefully, other punks will think twice about attacking seemingly unarmed persons. or, it is looking like a grown man ASSUMED A negro was a punk he had authority to follow and confront physically with a gun,, and ended up committing negligent homicide in his (habitual) overzealousness... hopefully other adults wont make such overreaching ASSUMPTIONS and bad decisions which put them in the position to commmit such a crime,,, |

Unlike President Bush, President Obama was elected by the majority of the American people, and I believe the majority supports his re-election. I know I do. Many of us strong fear the mixing of politics and religion. The United States was never intended to be a Chistian nation. If you doubt me, read this: http://www.earlyamerica.com/review/summer97/secular.html I quite like Obama but is he a puppet of his masters? Power & Constraint by WW Norton and Company ,,it kind of reinforces my own opinion that the government checks and balances really gives LESS power to the POTUS than people wish to believe,,, |

NBC News has fired a producer who worked on a 'Today' show segment that featured a heavily edited 911 recording in which George Zimmerman appears to racially profile Trayvon Martin before the teen's shooting, according to The New York Times. The name of the Miami-based producer who was fired was not released, according to the Times report, which does not refer to any disciplinary action that may have been taken against other NBC staffers. NBC News has been slammed for the report since last week, and had promised an investigation into what has been described as a grossly misleading editing of the tape. NBC declined to confirm the firing, according to the Times report. "An internal investigation determined that a "seasoned" producer was to blame for the edit, NBC had said earlier in the week, before news of the firing. The edited version of the call that aired on Today clearly made Zimmerman appear to say Martin looked dangerous because of his race. "This guy looks like he's up to no good … he looks black," Zimmerman says in the version of the tape that aired. In the unedited version of the call, however, Zimmerman answers a question about Martin's race only after being specifically asked by the 911 dispatcher. "This guy looks like he's up to no good. Or like he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about," Zimmerman said, without referring at all to Martin's race. Only after the 911 dispatcher asks "black, white or Hispanic?" did Zimmerman reply "He looks black." The 17-year-old Martin was killed on Feb. 26 by Zimmerman in the city of Sanford, Fla., where Martin was visiting. Zimmerman claims Martin physically attacked him after he questioned why he was in the neighborhood. Details of what actually happened between the two in the moments before the shooting are not clear, and are currently under investigation. Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/04/07/nbc-news-reportedly-fires-producer-edited-george-zimmerman-tape/?test=latestnews#ixzz1rNNgd6Oo Good, he deserved to be fired. I hope the trend catches on,, of getting rid of media personnel who intentionally edit content to be more controversial and newsworthy,,,, way to set a precedent NBC.... |

I Wonder if he had starved from eating only oatmeal,, if the outrage would be the same its tragic anyhow, that parents can be so ignorant about childrens needs,,,many more than this couple arent aware of dietary needs,, but this ended tragicly The boy went from 90 pounds to 60 pounds. The parents were not ignorant of his dietary needs. They knew they were starving him. I dont know if thats true. I think ignorance is quite possible because I saw something similar with a couple who had only fed their child oatmeal,,because they thought it was healthy enough, and he was simialrly losing weight. I think they went to a hospital before he had lost thirty pounds, but he had dropped about fifteen. They could have been this couple had they waited just a few days longer to seek help.....ignorance |

With the economy in the sh**ter, we all know times are hard in this day & age. That being said, there are quite a few people with the skills, knowledge and experience, having to struggle with a line of work that they may not have planned on doing (with people being laid off, hiring freezes, etc...). I mean, I have a full time job & I always pay my bills on time, and am able to get by (not very comfortably, basically paycheck to paycheck). But still able to do a few luxurious things as I see fit. What I wanna know is how many of you hold this in high regards over say...love, companionship, & happiness? right now, companionship has to do with productivity and contribution, I need someone that can be giving to the family unit and not just taking,,,so its pretty on par with love and happiness for me |

Just for the sake of your own mental health you do understand he was deported at one point and returned?
its right here. "Officials also said that Galindo used numerous aliases and birth dates while residing illegally in New Mexico and was deported in August of last year." So if he returned illegaly how can you blame Obama? Its not a mentaly healthy way to think. President turd is suing my state as well as other states to stop the enforcement of immigration laws, by doing so tells me that he loves illegals. Its no secret that a majority of Hispanics vote democrat...coincidence that he opposes immigration laws?....I think not! he doesnt oppose immigration laws....wth he supports immmigration law being handled by the proper authority and not by POLICE, who are already overworked,,,,with keeping their communities safe not validating peoples paperwork,,,, uhhuh,,thats exactly why there have been record numbers of deportations PRIOR to the election year (2012) kinda redundant and wastefull, since they are obviously deporting the same one's over and over... redundant and wasteful to deport? .... I Thought that was the whole argument regarding immigration laws and whether our administration is 'friends' with immigrants who break the laws... so if its not judged by enforcing the laws (deporting illegals),,,how is it judged? |
