Counterpoint: If California is so terrible, why are the homes so expensive? People across the country may point to Ron DeSantis' "Poop map" to say that San Francisco is awful, when in fact, landlords charge $6K/month to rent a tiny studio apartment because it's f**king awesome to live there! The pricey real estate is a big reason we have so many homeless people, but that's due to the landowners rejecting any attempt to build more houses, knowing an increase in supply will cause their selling price to decrease. Also, the mild weather makes it so homeless can actually live outdoors without dying of exposure. California was a wonderful place to grow up, no prejudices, perfect weather year round, beautiful scenery, it had it all..You always go down when you are on top. I can hardly wait for The Donald to take over, then it will all be HIS fault, of course..right? |

If you're going to send something that's expensive, send it registered mail. When I was mailing mortgage refinance papers, I sent them registered. They signed for them. Then said they 'lost' them all. Had to redo everything and they did not give back the fees for it. |
