I am not sure if events like this are so much more frequent, but probably they are...but also some of us hearing and seeing these things has taken place because of technology, such as portable digital cameras, cameraphones, the internet, etc. And people have become more aware, especially since the Rodney King beating. Everybody has a camera and they aren't afraid to use it.
If that ever happens to me, put down the camera and HELP!!!

I'm sorry. You seem like you are just fed up, and I sure know the feeling. Express it, but be cautious to vent in a way that is constructive and won't be detrimental to you.

That, and the fact that people are creatures of habit...people who find their earliest relationships to be fundamentally wrong on some level, for example they are attracted to skinny guys in bands that turn out to be ********, should try to break those patterns. I have a problem with women who try to be overly controlling and who don't fight fair. So I came to the conclusion that if I am attracted to them, they are probably not for me. Kind of like staying away from bars if yo are a recovering alcoholic.

I disagree. Maybe depending on your geography, but I have been seeing robins since early January. Since then we've had about a foot of snow in two separate dumps. But, nonetheless, spring is near. Winter is past half over.
