Hello Debs, no the shakes are not as frequent, but are certainly stronger, btween 4 & 4.9 on the oh dear scale. Still Septembers shake up was 7.1, so these are only reminders

Evening everyone, Well today was my first day out of the house since coming home on Monday.. I drove myself to the Dairy Queen which is 1 1/2 miles from my house.. Ordered in the drive thru and ate in the car.. Not up to walking in yet but felt good to get out and get some fresh air.. also did 2 loads of laundry..yea.. I'm getting there..lol Good going Carole!

Once again the forecast for snow did not happen
Good morning everyone have a grand day indeed. 
Good morning Tazz!  It's going to be a pretty nice day here in my area. They aren't calling for snow here until the end of the week. Really, they changed the forecast & aren't calling for rain until tonight. Hmmmmmm. That gives me an idea. I'm calling my girlfriend later to see if she wants to get together later for movies. Have a good one!

Good morning friends, Well the surgery is over and I'm home.. hurting and sore, the knee was worse than expected but the dr fixed it all up.. Able to walk a short distance( without screaming..lol)but going to need lots of therapy and TLC.. Not going any place soon... Have a beautiful day!
Hi Carole! I haven't been able to be here for a while so I have to get caught up with what's going on with who. Did you have surgery on your knee? Did you start PT yet? Hope things are going better for you!
HI, Had my surgery last Fri (nov5th) and home on Monday.. doing ok and getting therapy at homme at this time, may do some outpatient therapy later.. Knee was bad, had a bad stress fracture and the dr had to insert a pin for extra support and build up a corner on the lower bone... Might just take a little longer to heal but I've got all winter...lol OUCH!!! Take it slow & easy. I'm glad that they're starting your therapy at home. Take it easy!

CHICKEN ENCHILADA VERDE 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 cans of chicken broth 1 15 oz can of green Chile sauce 1 8 oz can of green Chile sauce 1 small can of diced green chilies (drained) ¾ cup of salsa Verde 2 cup of shredded Monterey jack cheese 1 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese 1 cup shredded of sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup diced red onions salt and white pepper to taste 12 large flour tortillas 1 cup of sour cream 1 15 oz can of black olives diced Preheat oven 350 degrees. Trim off any excess fat or skin off of chicken breasts. Wash thoroughly and place chicken in a deep pan with chicken broth and water. Add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then down to a simmer. Cover with lid and let cook till chicken is easy to shred with fork. Strain the broth, place in a container in the frig or freeze. Shred chicken with fork and set aside. Combine all cheeses and onion in a small bowl. Open small can of green Chile sauce and pour on bottom of glass baking dish. Fill each tortilla with shredded chicken, diced green chilies, cheeses, onion, and top with 1 tablespoon of green Chile sauce. Reserve half the cheese and onion combination. Roll tortillas and place in baking dish seam side down. Take remaining green chili sauce and thoroughly pour over all. Top with remaining cheeses, onion. Add the salsa Veda, and black olives. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 min or until heated through and cheese has melted. Let stand 5 minutes. Top with sour cream or your favorite hot sauce. Note: If needed you may have to grate more cheese depending on how much cheese you like. This sounds really good! I think I'll copy it.

I think I will wait till that one comes to the dollar movies. Tuesday nights the movies are .50. Toy story was funny and sad at times. Yes I did tear up once okay more than. I really want to see Toy Story 3 as well as a few others that are coming out right now. We used to have a theater around here that showed movies for a buck. I wish it were still here. You're lucky to have that theater. I usually wait for the movies to come out on DVD & rent them. That way I can watch them in comfort.

Hi guys!
I'm all moved into my new place & I have the internet back again. I had to go without it for a couple of weeks. Talk about major withdrawal!  Anyway, I'm back (you lucky things). I'm settled in (sort of). At least my stuff is here & my clothes are hung up! I don't have things organised the way I want them yet. My cat is still getting adjusted to the place. The only home she's ever known was my other apt. Here, she can see squirrels, birds & everything! I was in a high-rise apt. before so this is quite a switch for her. I wonder how long it'll take for her to be completely adjusted? Last night was a loooonnnngggg night because of her.
What's everybody been up to? Just wanted you to know that I'm back!

Just sneaked back to see what happens behind my back  Deb, I'm putting together a US 6 gallon (23 litre) brew of Riesling.Tiz my favourite white wine. I'm thinking the next one will be a Port. We will see. In passing, I haven't felt a shake for a couple of days, but there may have been some tiddlers, that I don't even notice.

Hi Viv. I'm slowly but surely getting all my stuff packed to move. My cat is VERY suspicious about it. I move in 2 weeks & can't wait till it's over & done with! I did find out this month that I might be getting old. Tell me it ain't so! I can only do part of a box before I have to sit down to drink some flavored water so this is going SLOW! Thank heavens for family to help me here!

No. The flavored water isn't BV. It's just what it sounds like - flavored water. AquaFina makes a lemon flavored one with just a hint of lemon in it. It's SOOOOOO refreshing. Their Wild Berry is great too! The Raspberry flavored one stinks. I haven't tried others from them but the Clover Valley brand makes a peach flavor that's out of this world! You can tell I like flavored water, huh?
