People can be cruel, but the best part of that show is when they show the recovered animal in a happy home. That's hope, people.

I feel your pain. Two days ago, we had snow and ice. Today it is 65. Tomorrow, it will snow again. Ugh.

It's so weird to see this, because I have this theory. The Edmund Fitzgerald is haunting me. I don't watch much tv or listen to the radio very often, and it seems like every time I turn on one or the other, there is a tv special or the song is on. Virtually every time. Now I turn on my computer and see this. Coincidence? I think not...

It is a great song, though.

Turn down the temp and put on a loud, exciting movie. Coffee helps, too.

Unfortunately, this is not uncommon. Trouble is, we live in such a litigious society, it warps everything. If DHS doesn't cover their a** in a VERY significant way, Mommy could sue them. The moral of my story is, if you're thinking about suing somebody, save a kid and don't do it.

I find that it doesn't even have to be a person. If I stumble upon a mix cd that I made during a less-than-pleasant period of my life, I usually can't listen to it. Actually, this happened tonight.

The reason I say it is because I don't want to talk about whatever it is. In that case, it's usually 1) grave, or 2) I feel like it's stupid. Many people in my life feel like they should keep asking until they get an answer. This is not the case; it only makes things worse.

Once walked into a men's room in Ruby Tuesday's. I thought, upon seeing the urinal, "That's odd, must be one of those either/or restrooms, which are becoming more prevalent." Did what I had to do, got ready to leave, and TOTALLY froze. There was a man, doing what he had to do... at the urinal. So I waited it out and RAN.
