she is not doing her job, if she were in someone else's business or like a group home and expected to do the duties and wasn't they would not hesitate to fire her.

somehow hold onto hope that she will come around to knowing that it is not disowning her in the firing but you need somebody to do specific duties and take care of particular needs while you recover form your surgery if she cannot figure this part out I am sorry
do not put the safety of your health in jepardoy over your family members wants. this may be the hardest thing you may have to do but its inevitable for your survival.
