 My brother-in-law served in Isreal. We're not as invested overseas here in Canada as our American friends are, but we miss our family the same when they're gone. Our thoughts are with those who are serving and we wish them all a safe return! Good luck with Red Friday!

It wasn't as big a deal for me as I had made it out to be. Helps that people still think I'm 20. most of the time it's great not to look your age, this bit me in the butt when I started working out last year & the 20 yo instructors at the rec didn't realize I had a decade on them  I can keep up with them now though & I'm cool with that! It's been only recently that people have stopped asking me if my Mom's home. I wish I was kidding. |

It's just not something that men really "get". I had to think about what you referred to with "it". You mean "pregnant"? No, men don't "get" what it is to BE pregnant - they don't understand having a little person growing in them. It's more than hormones and a Buddha belly. It's surreal. |

A woman I worked with told me a true story about her friend who spoke very broken english...
She went to the corner store and asked the cashier for "sex tonight - five dollar". The man wasn't sure he understood and asked her to repeat what she said. The lady repeated "I need sex tonight for five dollar." The cashier told her to leave the store. The lady went home very upset and her son tried to figure out what was wrong. He went back with her to the store and asked the cashier what happened. He said that she'd wanted him to pay five dollars to have sex with her. The son explained that she was trying to buy a lottery ticket. She wanted the $5 Set For Life. |
