You don't really need parenting books. Pay attention to your child; watch them, listen to them, and you will discover how to be their parent.
- that's from my Dad

He has been showing signs of it lately. He wants to have a threesome with other males a lot and when we do he gets off faster when he has contact with them. He doesn't have sex with them, only me. But for a straight male lime he says he is I'm seeing too many signs. Can someone please help me figure out if he might be. I can tell about more things that he does when someone replies.HELP PLEASE!!

Jennifer - since you are having a sexual relationship with this man, why is it that you cannot have a heart to heart with him. Talk to him! Ask him why he wishes to have an extra person in bed with you. If you are seeing lots of signs, you should be honest and give him the chance to say what's on his mind.

In the meantime, you have agreed to have threesomes. So what are you actually feeling? You said your relationship is hanging by a thread and all the info seems to be based on sex. Not that we want or even need more info!

Don't get me wrong, but isn't the most important part of a relationship the Communication part! This is where you need to step up as long as you're prepared for any answer! Don't ask if you don't want to know!

Sometimes the truth does hurt! I wish you well! flowerforyou

I agree with Ouizee. The only way to find out what another person is thinking is to ask that person. You may be fearful of the answer; being vulnerable can be scary and risky, but it really is the only way to navigate the situation in a respectful way. flowerforyou Take care of you.

I am very frustrated. Trying to help a friend who doesn't know how to accept help. Communication break downs suck!

I've always been under the impression that it happens to keep us humble. It can happen to ANY type ;)

Yep. It's called life. Breathe through the pain. Smile through the gain. Enjoy the now, because in a minute it will change!

I use my tarot deck primarily for myself, as a meditation tool. I, too, will get clear pictures and information when I read for others, but have to look in the book, for myself! I actually keep a record of all my readings for myself in a journal, and have developed a notation system, so I can go back and review things at a later date, if I wish. I write down my question and any thoughts or impressions, ahead of time, then proceed with the reading. I usually do a Celtic Cross, but sometimes a 3 card spread, if I'm short on time.

I choose to use the information as revelations about current events and issues, and meditate on what is being shown to me about the current state of things. I find it helps me clarify my own feelings and focus on next steps. It's proven to be a pretty good system. I try to go and get a reading from some one else every once in a while, just to get a perspective check!

Interesting.

I would like your opinion on a reading I did yesterday on the situation involving Syria using my five card reading that I call "The infallible five."

Hey, Jeannie! Sorry I missed getting back to this thread. I visited your link. What i did is this: i scrolled down so I could only see the cards.

My first impressions -
The Sun - represents Power, and in this case the conflict is over power

Queen of Pentacles (rev) - an imbalance in energy, specifically too little female energy

The Tower - in complete upheaval. Literally knocking down the old to make way for the new.

Two of Wands (rev) - blank. I got nothing, then on a second look: seeing the children makes me wonder what they are doing in such a dark story. They represent faith and hope for a fresh start, but since the card is reversed, the ability to have faith is in question.

Dark Magician - a sense of foreboding. I see somebody hiding behind a cape or costume, or in the shadows, which makes me think one particular person or force leading the way; Manipulation behind the scenes.

I feel for you. I went through a similar experience. Couples therapy is what helped us work through our issues. I wish you well!

That is a very succinct way of putting it. I have always preferred sitting on the ground. :)

Go Forward With Courage

When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.
Then act with courage.

Ponca Chief White Eagle (1800's to 1914)

I'm finding these words very powerful, today. Thank you for sharing all of these poems/ excerpts!

The Code of Ethics is really beautiful, jagbird. If only more people lived that way...it seems to me, it is about being mindful, present and aware as you live each day. A challenge to do, I think. Maybe similar to practicing yoga? Each pose is a goal and each day you might not reach the goal, bit that is what is worked toward every time.

Yes... and Thanks, Jaded...

I'm not too sure about relating it to yoga, though...? Maybe in some of the goals, but the pathway is different..

Different pathways for different people.. or there would be too much traffic congestion, on one... happy

The more I talk to people from different pathways, the more I see that the vocabulary used is different, but the ideas and goals are similar. From Buddha to the Creator, and back again, there are many ways to experience stillness in our minds and love in our hearts.

All I can say is in my first marriage, my sex drive became low when I was the only one working while he entertained himself with internet porn. In my second marriage, my sex drive became low because 1 there was the lack of affection & 2 he was just too darn rough. I have an extremely high drive, but want someone with a balance of affection, passion, compassion, adequacy( well endowed), financial stability & also knows when to slow rolly & when to beat it up. Cheating does and will occur when one does not receive what they want or need at home...
sounds like you want alot:tongue:

Hey, irish! waving Missed you around here!

I don't think she is asking for too much, it's finding out where to look that is the tricky part!
