I'm starting to trust my "gut feeling".
It's usually the one that's right. My heart and head make some good points, but my gut is the one that is usually right in the end.

Mr. Right is Johnny Depp. Duurhh.

Interesting choice seeing as he's 28 years older than yourself.

You wouldn't believe the other celebrity crushes I have. And most of them way older than Mister Depp. love

I'm single because my last relationship was horrible. And I earned quite a few wounds from it.
So I'm biding my time and letting them heal. :)

Same here girly, but its all just a process. With every relationship ended we grow stronger. So when you find that one special guy, every bad relationship you've ever had to deal with will simply become practice for the amazing one soon to come :)

Not going to lie, I am enjoying the process. :)
And I'm keeping an open mind. Not rushing anything at all. drinker

Nope noway I don't like to share and I don't want someone elses left overs:angry:

I agree. I'm very, very stingy. Sharing isn't my greatest quality when it comes to men.
I don't want any sloppy seconds. ill

I'm not that picky when it comes to the physical. But one thing that I have noticed in my choice of men, is that they all have brown eyes. I am such a sucker for brown-eyed men.

Personality-wise: I like to look for a man who can make me laugh. Who knows exactly what he wants out of life. Honest, caring and an optimist. This may sound a little weird, but the possessiveness turns me on, but not when it becomes an issue and he's snarling at every guy who looks my way or even talks to me. I am very family oriented and a man who loves his family and can respect the relationship I have with mine is another important thing.

I've been told before that when you cheat its because of insecurities or it's because they're not happy in the relationship. Maybe you're not giving them something that they secretly want. So they feel the need to go seek it elsewhere.

Honestly though, who knows why cheaters cheat. It's for many different reasons. Not just one in particular. Some people cheat just because they think they can get away with it.

I don't know if you have any of his stuff but dramatic gestures will only make you look like you actually care when why should you? Doing demonstrative things only make you look like you are stooping to his level.

Since this guy's character is questionable and he could be dangerous I would suggest if you have any of his property remove it immediately to a nuetral location. Someplace where you can document his reciept of it. I would suggest video tapeing it being placed and locked in a prepaid storage locker and the key mailed to him that he must claim with in 30 days or loose with notification by reciepted mail.

If all you have is gifts or momentos be mature and responsible and put them in the trash if you don't want them. Since it is only going to remind you of this miserable experience I would quietly purge them and forget about it.

I had a few gifts. One in particular that I knew I didn't want. And I told him very calmly that I didn't want it and if he didn't want it that I was going to throw it away. I ended up giving it to his daughter because she was upset that we had ended things. And I felt like that was probably better than throwing it away.

I see nothing wrong with letting my boyfriend (if I had one) watch porn.
I had a friend that was married and she denied her husband any porn whatsoever. If it's pornos or dirty magazines, he can't reach out and touch them. I don't consider it cheating of the mind.

However, cyber sex is completely different. They are using their words describing what they would do.. that is a big no no for me.

I don't believe in love at first sight. I believe that it's called Lust at First Sight.

I don't think there is anyway you can just look at someone on the street and think 'I love that person. I'm going to marry them one day.' You don't know anything about them. They could be a serial killer or worse for all you know.

Love takes time.

I am very slowly adjusting to being single again.
And I'm wondering why I even left single-ville. laugh

We did end it. :)

I just wanted to ask other people what they would've done in that situation. He was a complete jerk. And I know that I didn't deserve any of that crap that I put up with. And I'm a happier person because he's not in my life anymore. biggrin

Not a good relationship at all. Because you'll know that you love him more than he loves you and that just hurts.

What would you do if you caught your boyfriend messaging married women, saying vulgar things to them, and when you confronted him about it and he denied it?
What would you do or say to him?

My most recent ex was 7 years older than me.
Which wasn't that bad.
