I might assume those who feel the need to cheat are basically so insecure that they need constant proof of their desirability. |

WHY DO PEOPLE CHEAT IN THEIR RELATIONSHIPS? most likely cause their relationship has lost that spark, alot of older women that are married will sleep around cause their husbands isn't pleasuring them enough "i don't know if i'm allowed to say this on here but if i'm not can a moderator edit this" i'm 19 year's old and alot of you might say im not gonna take advice from someone who's only 19 but if you're in a relationship/married make sure you're sex life is good and when i say sex life i mean not that 30 seconds for you then you smoke a cig then pass out, but actually taking care of her needs so she is not out trying to find someone who will satisfy her needs. and as a old saying: Ladys first "lady's first doesn't just mean being polite in public but in bed also." so make sure you're relationship still has that spark and you're sex life is good and their shouldn't be any cheating issues, and while you're having sex make sure you communicate too make sure you like what you are doing as also that she is enjoying it too, don't just read this and say oh hes young he doesn't know what his talking about . |

For a 19 yr old you have some sense,,I have two grandsons your age...they amaze me at times...but my question is this..you mention 'older' women cheating..sweetie, any woman over 25 is 'older' to you..  Why didn't you mention men also? They are historically the 'cheaters'. But either sex will cheat. People cheat for a variety of reasons, sex is only one of them...I have to agree with soufi on this...it's mostly about insecurities. |

I guess you have to ask that to someone who did cheat...I don´t know ´cause I never cheated on anyone ....
but you could ask that to my ex-boyfriend... he never answered that question to me.. and now I don´t even care. I agree with Soufie, insecurity, or this thing men and women have in their genes: it´s an animal instict to "have them all". (Guess I´m lacking in that gene.....) Personally, I think cheating´s stupid and immature, if you want to be with someone else just break up with the person you´re with and go and have sex with who ever you want to, I mean, stay single, without any commitments and go to bed with anyone you want to. In my country there´s a saying: "De la muerte y los cuernos nadie se salva" it means: nobody is free from dying or being cheated on (I know that in English it doesn´t make much sense :( but I think it´s true) |

For others, it could be an addiction to sex that no one person could ever fill. For my most recent situation, my daughter got cheated out of a mother and I've yet to be with anyone else.
IRL, it seems as though there is at least one woman taking an interest in me, but I'm more interested in how our kids get along, and even more importantly, observing of how she treats her kids. That last part is really important because if any relationship gets serious, she'll treat my kid exactly like she does hers. It took 3 years to find real love the last time and if it takes twice as long for a longer lasting love, I'd be content either way. |

I've been told before that when you cheat its because of insecurities or it's because they're not happy in the relationship. Maybe you're not giving them something that they secretly want. So they feel the need to go seek it elsewhere.
Honestly though, who knows why cheaters cheat. It's for many different reasons. Not just one in particular. Some people cheat just because they think they can get away with it. |
