Mystery 'Covid-like' virus in China could be deadly Victorian disease, experts say http://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/other/mystery-covid-like-virus-in-china-could-be-deadly-victorian-disease-experts-say/ar-AA1l4Rdw?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=ACTS&cvid=fb295ceec63e42b59ab3f8d308c06386&ei=30 Which also says, "The strange unidentified virus has been causing chaos in China for weeks, with the world on high alert over fears a new pandemic could be on the way" Seems speculative right now on what this disease actually is, and we are still not hearing much at all from the government authorities here in the UK. Do you think government authorities should be telling us what action they propose in taking. |

China's mystery virus mapped as cases spread across Europe http://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/medical/china-s-mystery-virus-mapped-as-cases-spread-across-europe/ar-AA1kY5t4?ocid=msedgntp&pc=ACTS&cvid=bfb0f57e958d4cc49935017e4138a0e6&ei=25 Is it too soon, or do you think it's time to take preventative measures to avoid healthcare systems becoming overwhelmed with patients affected by respiratory diseases, as some countries close to China are putting in place now. |

Is the concept of long-distance relationships sustainable in the long run, or do the inherent challenges outweigh the emotional connection? Can technology truly bridge the gap between partners physically separated? If you are thinking of starting a long distance relation after meeting up in the real world, I believe you need to meet as often as you can and set a date when you will eventually be together. Then you can both plan how this is going to happen and work towards that goal. As others have said, all the technology in the world will not make it happen, yes technology is important in keeping in contact, but without meeting up as often as you can it just turns more in to a Pen-Pal relationship and may even fade away. |

Is the concept of long-distance relationships sustainable in the long run, or do the inherent challenges outweigh the emotional connection? Can technology truly bridge the gap between partners physically separated? As someone once wrote here in Mingle2, 'you can't expect to find the right one for you living next door'. So, distance will be involved and travelling to meet each other. In my opinion it all depends on the two people involved, and for it to work out at least one of you has to relocate so you can be together, ask yourself, are you prepared to relocate if they are unable to. Long distance relationships are not easy but they do work for some people. Good luck in your search. |
