May sound weird, but the best person in a sense was my narcissistic ex. He was abusive in the broadest sense of the word. It was because of him that I FINALLY learnt that big big lesson that until being with him I'd been to scared to learn. Because the way he treated me I had no choice. It was either drown or learn to swim. Without that I could very well still be fumbling around. The best is not per say the nicest. We got a saying: gentle healers make festering wounds. . . . Next time, better go to a swimming pool and get some lessons there though... one does not necessarily need to learn the hard way! |

I will exclude family and friends, too many things I admire in many of them and would not be able to choose. One famous person I admire a lot, from what I heard about him, is Keanu Reeves. As an actor, for his interpretation in Matrix but also some older films like Point Break. As a person, because from what I've read he has remained a rather normal guy, uses public transport and talks with people, shares the fortune he makes with every film with staff and other people, has a wife who is not a top model, sign that he found something else in her than just a body. He seems a very good person, maybe I can ask to send me a million or two.

You and your life purpose

I tend to have multiple purposes but I also change them rather often and don't always take them too seriously... I don't want obsessions, just feasible, realistic objectives. For instance I had to abandon my studies in Physics during first level degree and got a good job in the airline business. First purpose was to become financially stable, bought a house, sold it, bought another one and so on... made a family and then as if it was not enough I said to myself "hey remember that university degree? isn't it time now?" and replied to myself "are you crazy? studying physics with full time job and kids???" so I gave me the more realistic purpose to graduate in computer science, as I worked in that field..., done that, get a better paid job, buy a house near a nice beach, help kids to get their degrees and a house each... currently on track... after that, probably will go back to the degree in physics, when I retire and have some spare time... but as a pleasure, not as an obsession

Not sure I understand the sense of this post... but in my opinion it's the opposite, hell has been 'designed' to be quite similar to Volcanoes, because people are scared of Volcanoes and needed to be scared of hell. It's no coincidence, they are similar by choice of the writer
