After 5 again today, nothing broke the silence
Tomorrow she thought...tomorrow But tomorrow has again faded to today 5pm again, nothing has changed Poor aching heart, God how it hurts Every day for years now came that call. The one that no matter what went on, was able to fix it all How painfully strange this new routine Lying down to sleep without a goodnight... Tears are coming, it seems so stupid to cry Tomorrow maybe things will be as they were. Each tomorrow brings the promise of 5pm Will the next prove to be empty as the last? Such a jumbled mess inside, it's only been days Yet they seem like years Another evening has brought nothing but silence This time tears cannot be fought |

Such beautiful words and promises Painted in forever friendship, or so it seemed A vulnerable heart believed it all Soon it began to sprinkle, our bond became soggy but nothing more Then came the hard rain accompanied by angry thunder He left without a second thought. There I stood drenched in broken promises Stuck in a prison of sickly sweet memory, To this day angelic blue eyes take my breath away.
