Unless it's on Netflix through my Blu Ray player I don't stream. I download then watch it on my big screen. I can access my PC through my Blu Ray player, so much more comfortable than watching at the computer.

I very rarely go see first run movies in the theater unless it's part of a franchise I love like Star Wars or Lord Of The Rings/The Hobbit.
Or I'll go see older films re released in the theater that I'm a big fan of. (The advantage here is these usually show at theaters where the obnoxious teens using their phones, or crying babies aren't present.)
And pretty much all of your complaints makes me not want to go to the theater either.

The Martian; worth the bucks; might even buy the movie when it comes out in DVD.

I'll just stream it on putlocker when there is a watchable copy.

I'm telling!

If it's peaceful while you're having sex, you're doing it wrong.

I enjoyed that book.

Right now I'm reading The Dark Man by Desmond Doane.

It was good stuff.
