I've had Windows 7 on my laptop for a little over a week now. There are a couple things I don't like on it that it does and it seems to feel more resource demanding, but it's holding it's own. Luckily I haven't installed any of those updates which one gives the black screen of death. yeah, it's the most recent security update. avoid it until they fix the problem. From what I've gathered from reading threads from fellow members, don't touch any updates since all they do is waste hard drive space for the most part. I'm just glad you can disable Windows Updates.
