I think it is. I have been alone for the past 8 years except for three months. I think I am ok.

yes it is,sometimes we just need to be alone for along time..Things happen in our lives that make it so that is all we want. now I'm so happy tho.

Apart from two short relation I have been alone for a longggg time, I'm ok alone even if I do need the closeness of a warm heart from time to time.

Hmmm...."a long time"...Like my dog's definition of long time when she's at the window when I return from the grocery store? Or, like when I left high school and returned for the 4oth reunion?  When you're not in love...you tend to say it's ok...watcha gonna do monkey?

I think it depends on why you want to be alone. If you are okay with yourself and don't need someone else to make you feel complete,(and we all should feel this way) then that's alright. If you are alone because you are scared and afraid of getting hurt or whatever the reason is then that's not okay because you will only regret it and become bitter over time.

Its very ok,if your happy with yourself and dont need constant sorts of "your ok" talk to bolster low confidence.But its so much nicer to have alone time WHILE in love,you know,the un-clingy type of saran wrap love.

I actually enjoy being alone...unless I had a bad day and don't have anyone to hold me. But I do think some people can enjoy being alone without being in love.
