Personally, I would NEVER be so vain or presumptuous as to post a topless photo as a main profile pic, for all the world to see, even though it's allegedly an "acceptable" or "more appropriate" practice that men are allowed to follow, for some reason. The ONLY way I would ever be seen in a photo without a shirt on is if someone took a picture of me while I had been swimming. It has nothing to do with being prudish or embarrassment, but more of common courtesy and decency.

But the topic is about MEN with shirtless pics as a main on their profiles....not women! That particular point is completely moot!

But the stigma remains for women (or men) who still believe they are, because of the role they play for nursing a child.

A "naked body" isn't the point. We're talking about guys who feel the need to post shirtless pics as a main profile pic. Why the double-standard? If it's apparently okay for a guy to do this (repulsed by it though I am), I think it's only fair that women should be able to do it as well.

What's good for the goose, and all that rot....

ummmm because it's not an X rated site??

Then why should guys be so-called "allowed" to post shirtless pics?

What I'd like to know is, at what part of this thread did Anyone get that *I* will be a Grandmother??

That would be a pretty good trick, considering you ain't got no kids....

Tell ya what....when you women have an appendage hanging between your legs all your life and know what it's like, then you'll know. Until then, deal with it....just like we men have to deal with watchin' y'all dig your undies outta your buttcracks, or adjusting your hooter-hangers.

I like Barry... He writes The songs about love & special things!

Actaully, he didn't write "that" song at all. It was written by Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys. First recorded by David Cassidy. The "I" in the title refers to "music" itself who "writes the songs", not a particular person.
