The forums and people I know on here are my only reason for staying. I doubt I will date anyone off here nor do I really want to. I'd like to be surprised, but the girls around me seem so crappy.

Yeah.. I dated three local guys the first month I was on the site. I just happened to fall for one 2000 miles away. I can say it was all his fault for posting! But there are lots of locals in my area. really??? would I like ANY of them??? never mind I answered my own question.

Do any of their profiles actually sound like someone you want to date?? There's nothing sexier than "I don't know what to write here." I haven't seen a good local profile in....well, ever....reading through MM candidate profiles is like trying to grade essays written by dyslexic third grade remedial reading students with cataracts.

Yes, I'm sure there are. Sure are optimistic. I guess I stopped thinking/caring after I read all their profiles and read they were all the same aside from a name change or two.

Locals don't respond to anyone. It's a requirement of this site to meet someone to date you must be at least 500 miles away

He just got back and called, having dinner next wk..funny thing is he was born and raised in Montana where I am going...

I agree here they all have the same profile except for a name change and maybe a different type of "requirement" It amazes me that so many millions of people simultaneously decided to describe themselves as "laid back and easy-going" and demanded "no game players" before ending with "anything you want to know you'll have to ask." There is NO WAY to get THAT many people to agree on ANYTHING....It almost makes me suspect some sort of alien mass mind control -- but then, I guess they would have to HAVE a mind in order for that to work....
