Has anyone else seen that date put up at the bottom of their screen while watching tv. I believe NBC is doing it. Beside it being all the same ## what does it mean???

It means that I will not be watching the Olympics in the name of humanity. China does not deserve the honor of hosting the Olympics. They are inhumane among other things. It will be the first Olympics I will miss, but, I am determined not to watch or support advertisers products during that time.

You do realize ppl are just joking, I hope. I didn't know the date of the Olypics, myself, but my t.v. viewing has been close to nil, lately. |

Racine, You do realize ppl are just joking, I hope. I didn't know the date of the Olypics, myself, but my t.v. viewing has been close to nil, lately. I am not joking. The Summer Olympics in Beijing start on Aug. 8, 2008 and go til Aug 24th. I WILL be boycotting the Olympics by not watching and not supporting adverisers of the Olympics products. Google Summer Olympics 2008. The US is warning that all hotel rooms in Beijing can and will be monitored via audio and video. The Prime Minister of England is skipping the opening ceremonies in protest! |
