In college days it was clearly 'cute' to wait outside the lecture hall
for "your dream" to walk by. Maybe catch her eye, maybe talk to her.

Even cuter once you and her were starting to develop an interest. She
thought it was terribly cute when you'd do something stupid like leave
flowers on her car while she was at work.

So, it surely seems that nowadays, (meaning late 30s) to do that would
really set off a tsunami warning. Understandably so (of course, and that
hyper-sensitivity wears off if you get to know each other). Its not just
"female reaction". Its male reaction too, I went out with a girl once or
twice, had a really good time, but nothing romantic. Then she started
making drawings for me... the Warning alarms went off.

Now, a few months later, I wonder why we're all so hyper-sensitive.
Nothing came of it, she probably got her feelings hurt (I didnt make an
issue of it, but, backed off in an unfair, or overly sensitive manner).

So, back to the question: when do you feel PuppyDog Cuteness crosses the
line towards Creepy/Stalker ?

When they begin stealing your underwear off your clothesline.....true
story.

when they are everywhere you are adn calling you umpteen times per day
adn bombarding you w/letters,flowers etc....

yep, I think it becomes stalker/creepy material when it becomes
consistent. Especially if those cute puppy dog things aren't being
reciprocated or "encouraged" lol. Isn't it funny tho, when yer in a
relationship and you do those things alla time, yer a romantic,(well
maybe not the incessant phone calls lol) but if yer not in one, yer a
weirdo lol
